These pliers are a great value for their price. The handles are comfortable - cushioned and a great length. I got 2 pair (one for each hand) for doing chainmaille. The jaws are a good width to easily handle multiple sizes of rings (not too big for smaller size rings, tough enough to handle heavier gauges of aluminum). I'm very happy with this purchase. Came exactly as described. Excellent tool. Has held up well to making jewelry out of 16g stainless. The shape of the handle helps with leverage and does not hurt my hands compared to traditional plier s handle shapes. Definitely recommend.

My absolute favorite pairs of pliers now. I've owned many sets of pliers, and with my large hands, they just don't fit properly. These are incredibly comfortable for me. Sturdy pliers that got the job done nicely for me, feel very well built and not too expensive, but I feel guilty using them due to this warning on the packaging. I know California thinks just about everything causes Cancer, but this is not something you wanna see on anything you buy, imho. Just be informed.

I purchaed these and some of the other Wubbers Classic pliers for jewelry making. They are quality tools; much better than the pliers available at the local craft supply store. They fit my hands well and are smooth and easy to use, with good finish on the surfaces. They arrived in convenient packaging, and on time. As always, the Amazon excellent service, and a quality product.

I had the pliers for a week and the spring broke! Incredibly disappointing and a waste of money. Will not purchase wubbers again.

I bought Tronex and wubbers to compare and I have more wubbers pliers so I use them more often but love the tronex as well. I only have the flat nose and chain nose in the tronex. So here is the scoop...the Tronex chain nose have a thinner head than the Wubbers but the Tronex have a rounded edge which is nice. Both are smooth and both are nice in my hand. The Wubbers have a longer handle but the Tronex have a cushier handle which can be bulky and come with little red caps on the ends which is a nice touch. If you need more cushion go for the Tronex. I have to say in all honesty you can't go wrong with either brand.
