I bought the CeraVe SA Smoothing Cleanser in July 2025 and have been using it consistently for roughly 7 months now, twice daily (morning and evening). My skin type: Dry with some rough texture and occasional small bumps. What I liked ✔ Gradual improvement in skin texture After a few weeks of regular use, my skin started to feel smoother and more even. The salicylic acid provides gentle exfoliation without the harshness or irritation I had with stronger products. ✔ Cleans effectively but gently It removes dirt and oil well without leaving my skin feeling tight, dry, or stripped — which is impressive for an exfoliating cleanser. ✔ No fragrance (great for sensitive skin) Being fragrance-free is a major plus. No strong scent and no sensitivity issues for me. ✔ Comfortable for daily use Even with twice-a-day use, I didn’t experience redness, burning, or dryness. ✔ Very long-lasting bottle This really surprised me. A small amount is enough, and after 7 months I still have product left. It ends up feeling more economical than it first appears. ✔ Pleasant texture & appearance The cleanser has a clear, gel-like consistency that feels lightweight on the skin. It doesn’t feel heavy or greasy. ✔ Light, gentle foam It produces a soft lather rather than a thick foam. I personally like this because it feels gentle and non-stripping, yet still cleans effectively. What could be better ✖ Price The cleanser is more expensive than many alternatives. While the quality is good, the upfront cost may be a consideration. ✖ Results are not instant This is not a quick-fix product. Improvements were gradual rather than dramatic. Overall verdict: This cleanser worked well for my dry skin. It delivers gentle exfoliation, cleans effectively, and feels comfortable for everyday use. The light lather and gel texture make it pleasant to use, and the bottle lasts a surprisingly long time. I’m giving 4 stars mainly because of the price, but performance-wise it’s a solid product.

Amazing on my skin and I have combo to dry skin. Makes my skin soft. I dont use it everyday just when I sweat after workout. You should not use too much products unless you have skin problems. Water is the best friend. I dont thjnk it will cure spot but does clean your skin and make it soft.

I love this facial cleanser! My face is acne-prone, but also tends to get a bit dry, yet this cleanser does a good job getting rid of makeup and bacteria, while leaving my skin feeling soft and moisturised. The price point is reasonable, as this cleanser lasts me around 3 months due to the large bottle size. You don't have to use much, as it foams up pretty well. I will re-buy it over and over again!

Bought this multiple times from the CeraVe amazon store. Always arrived in good condition and the product is great.

way to drying for my skin , i am not a oily person, but this has dried my face out especially my forehead badly, im sure its ok for oily skin ….
