These are the same toy soldiers I played with as a kid in the 1960's and they are amazingly accurate as to weapons, uniforms, and positioning of the figures. If there were cast in a different material they could be painted as display figures. As they are, they are perfect for my little boys to play with in the sand box and their room, and the accuracy and care in the design help heighten their eye for details and historical accuracy.
