Can dylon machine fabric dye pod be used with cold water?

I did my pre-wash on cold, then the pod cycle on warm, then post wash on cold. You probably could do it on cold, but not sure the dye will take as well or be as vibrant.

Does this dye synthetic/polyester clothing?

No. It's for natural fabrics. I dyed cotton with polyester stitching and the stitching did not take the dye at all.
