Caladium Tropical Mix(12 Bulbs) Rich red Foliage with Contrasting Green Borders

The bulbs arrived as promised, and we promptly put them into containers on the deck (in central NC in late April). I knew they would take a while to sprout, so I've waited to write this review. It's now mid-Jun and the caladiums are all sprouted and showing off their foliage. It's a nice mix of red/green, white/green, and red/white/green plants. I look forward to enjoying them all summer and into the fall. You just have to be patient if you didn't start these indoors in February.

They grow back year after year and bigger and better every time.

After 6 weeks of waiting, nothing grew. I finally dug out a couple of bulbs, and they were rotted. I had planted these in self-watering pots, so they never were waterlogged or dry. I love caladiums, which are perfect for my atrium, a little humid outdoor space with a fountain and hardly any direct sun. Bummer.

Revised: Shortly after posting my first review the caladium started to emerge. Most did actually make an appearance above ground and are becoming a very nice display. It took a little over 2 months before they start to appear - which was much longer than expected. This could be the result of a lot of factors outside the control of this vendor. Regardless, it would have been nice if the tubers arrived with information helping us understand how to plant and the conditions necessary for "germination". We ordered a pack of 12 bulbs back in late April - waited a while before planting but they've been in the ground for over a month now. Not one came up. We didn't expect all of them to grow and would have been happy with 8 - but zero is not good. We finally broke down and bought 2 potted Caladiums from Home Depot...

PATIENCE, PATIENCE, PATIENCE growers! They do come up...in 5 WEEKS! I had all mine in one mini 10 x 14" plastic greenhouse with two adjustable vents on the covering hood that keeps moisture in or out. I watered them ONCE and put them under a grow light, 24/7. Each day I turned the planter 180 degrees, The nice thing is the grower sent me more bulbs than the 12, and all 17 came up!! You just have to be PATIENTand believe they will grow. I am giving a plus 5 as they are nice bulbs. It is tricky to tell which side is up, but looking CLOSELY you can see tiny roots on one of the bottom. I missed one and the root started growing out of the TOP! HA! Once turned around, it did great. I will try f/u with a picture once the leaves come out, but I hvae just been informed that "icloud" is not longer going to store pictures in my computer??? WHAT!! However, There are 3 little ones with leaves that have emerged and I am thrilled at how INexpensive these are compared to the ones in garden shops! WOW! It is definitely worth the wait and PATIENCE to see them pop up yourself...from your VERY own mini green house.

I originally ordered 2 packs. I planted 24 healthy bulbs in a bed with a mix of polka dot plants and sedum. Every one has grown now and put off several leaves of varying sizes. I ended up with about 5 variations of color. These plants will come back next year in my zone and they put out tubers so they should continue to spread. I'm very happy with the product, the company and their customer service! I had to message them about an issue I had and they were were super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.

These caladoum corms were small and dry when they arrived. They were slow to sprout and the color variety was not as indicated on the package. Granted I ordered them late so I may have gotten the bottom of the barrel?

Lovely bulbs. They all arrived nicely and healthy. Would highly recommend these bulbs!

Je suggère de mettre vos bulbes dans une boîte et de séparer les variétés. Tout a été dans un sac, sans rien identifier et c est arrivé tout écrasé dans un sac. C est décevant. C est sûr que rien ne poussera. C est tout écrasé. 😡

First time when they deliver,most of them are rotten,because of the pandamic situation.three of them grow looks like a weed.they replaced all of them.and I received on time.they all grow and same thing happened again.totally is wrong product.very much disappointed.my money and time was wasted.
