4 years and a bachelor's degree later
I bought this back in 2019 in college to use since it was raining pretty hard recently and upcoming. It's now the end of April in 2023 and this umbrella still works well and wonderfully. It's lasted me through storms and can withstand a lot of wind and I mean enough wind to pull you while using the umbrella. At that point, the umbrella folded and I'm rather thankful it does at that point. Amazing umbrella and it's been to several different countries with me on travels and through hail too. It's withstood all that. Very much considering getting a second one since my family is starting to notice it's the same umbrella for years and I think it might go "missing". Honestly a great deal. One thing I would change is how it closes, it's definitely left a wet spot on my suits when going to interviews and meetings. A small nitpick since it's kept the rest of me dry in storms. Also large enough to have two people under it and small enough to have an excuse to get closer to someone if you're trying to close the distance. The zipper on the cover is also a great addition and has saved me a lot of hassles. The only thing that rusts is the clasp, but I closed it wet. I've let it dry since then and no more rust has appeared or gotten worse. The handle also has a grip texture and material and that has made all the difference keeping this from flying from my hand, slipping away, and shaking water off. The tension or spring has reduced since I bought it, but it's 4 years later. It still shoots out and snaps the water off, just not as fast anymore.

Compact and Easy to Use, but Not Ideal for Strong Wind
I purchased this umbrella for my 7-year-old daughter, and overall it’s a great option for everyday use. It’s portable, and a convenient travel size, which makes it easy for her to carry around. The handle is made of a comfortable material and feels nice to hold, and the open/close button works smoothly and reliably. It’s very user-friendly, even for a child. The only downside is that it doesn’t seem sturdy enough for strong winds—it started to wobble during heavy rain. For that reason, I would recommend it more for light rain or non-windy days. Overall, it’s a good quality umbrella for the price, and we’re happy with it for regular use.

Sturdy with a strong open/close mechanism
This is a really nice umbrella. We have a very similar one made by a brand name company and I think this one is much better. First of all the spring mechanism is much stronger, in fact, it’s the best I’ve ever seen in an umbrella. For those who aren’t sure how the Auto Open/Close mechanism works, it goes like this… From fully closed position: Push button, and the umbrella post extends and then the canopy opens up. From fully open position: Push button, and the canopy collapses. You then have to push down the post manually. This is the same procedure for all ‘automatic’ umbrellas. I have never seen an umbrella that actually retracts the center pole as well. So that's not a negative or a minus at all against this umbrella. I have also posted a video of the umbrella opening and closing for demonstration purposes. Anyway, this is a perfect size and exactly what I was looking for. We get a lot of rain, and I always like to keep at least one umbrella in the car. This one fits nicely in the side pocket of the driver-side door, thus keeping it always handy. We were supposed to get rain this weekend, but it didn’t pan out, so I don’t have action photos to share with you of the umbrella in action. However, I can tell you that I like the fact that this umbrella has 10 ribs in the canopy as I have never had an umbrella with more than 8. I am sure that the added ribs increase its structural strength. The fabric itself feels sturdy, and I can’t find anything in the construction of the umbrella that would make me doubt its effectiveness. Oh, the included sleeve is nicer than most as it has a little zipper that makes it really easy to take on and off. If you’re looking for a mid-size umbrella, you can’t go wrong with this one as it has all the features you could ask for.

Very sturdy and great quality
At first I thought $15 was expensive for an umbrella, but I now see that there is a huge quality difference between this one, and the cheap ones you can pick up at any store for $5. The handle is not that thin cheap plastic stuff. It's durable, the perfect size, and comfortable to hold. It has a little grip to it, so it won't slip out of your hand like the smooth plastic ones. I didn't realize how great this feature was until we did an hour walk in the rain. I usually struggle to hold my umbrella. The open/close mechanism is strong. Like if it slips back when you're closing it in front of you, you could break a rib! But it fully opens in a flash, no assistance needed. I haven't used it on a really windy day but I can tell that the pole in the middle is made well. There is no jiggling or play in the umbrella when it's open. The cover is nice quality and has a zipper for easy slip in. This would be good for travel, as it is compact, but is not as lightweight as the plastic ones. However this one will last and function well for years to come. I'm ordering another one!

Portable, easy to pack away, resistant to winds
This umbrella is great and pretty well built. I usually use this for summer and winter. With the rain season approaching and the hot summers, this is definitely a good thing to have. I am not a fan of the hot sun or the heavy rain. The umbrella is pretty sturdy and I tried a wind resistant test and it holds up. Short of a tornado, it does not flip inside out from just sheer wind force which is nice for those windy rainy days. Even with the heavy winds in the bay area, this umbrellas held up pretty well. It does have enough room for max of two people and will cover the person however depending on the angle it will not cover your backpack. I tried walking around with this with my backpack on and the backpack still got a bit wet but I stayed bone dry which is nice. The switch is nice to have to collapse the umbrella. I am very happy with that. I do not have to close the umbrella down when my other hand is carrying my bag or books. It does not happen to splash water when it closes but careful when you reopen it. The button is not super sensitive. This is great because you will not be walking and all of a sudden the umbrella closes or opens on you. The water runs right off the umbrella and it does not take super long to dry which is nice. What is nice is that I am able to brush off most of the water making drying a lot easier. It does also come with a cover when it is being stored so you can keep it looking neat and organized. Overall I think this umbrella is great to have for sunny or rainy weather. It is light and compact while allowing for full coverage.

Love the size, not great in wind
Love how compact this umbrella is when folded, but it’s surprisingly big when opened! Fits easily in my bag, and the auto open/close works great. The only downside is that it flips inside out pretty easily in the wind. 3 stars because of that

Mala calidad
Sólo con dejarlo en el porta paraguas/botella de mi mochila, para tenerlo a disposición, se rompió todo el sistema de apertura/ cierre. Muy endeble y poco robusto. No lo recomiendo.
