Help! Why do dark spots initially look darker when using treatment?

This is actually a good sign that Remedy is working! The retinol promotes skin cell turnover, causing pigmented cells to rise to the surface, which makes spots appear darker initially. Stay patient with your routine for 6-8 weeks to see results.

Can you use Remedy for Dark Spots and Remedy for Pore Size together?

We do not recommend using both treatments together since both contain retinol. If you have larger pores, you can apply Remedy for Pore Size in T-Zone (as a spot treatment) and Remedy for Dark Spots elsewhere.

Can I continue to use my prescription tretinoin with Remedy for Dark Spots?

Yes, consult with your dermatologist before adding any new retinol or tretinoin products to your current routine. We recommend alternating days when using our Remedy for Pore Size with prescription tretinoin.

Do I need to wear SPF while using Remedy for Dark Spots?

We recommend for everyone to apply SPF 30+ daily.

Can Remedy for Dark Spots be used on the body?

It can be used on the body but be cautious with sensitive areas like armpits or groin areas. Remedy for Body Bumps is a more affordable option designed for the body which also fights discoloration over time.
