It works fast
One of the few products I can actually say works as advertised. First time homeowner and I have tried many other products - this one has worked the most consistently. I see results in 1.5weeks. It works. This one is good for bare spots but if you need one to cover a large amount of area, you will need to buy the big bag.

Works but takes time
Not a lot of product - so if you have a medium to large area to cover consider buying the bagged product. Used to cover some urine spots. The grass was slow growing but did start within a couple weeks. If you have small patches from urine spots I recommend pulling the dead grass and letting nature take its course. It probably grew back within the same amount of time as it would have without the product. This might be better for larger areas.

Quick Growth!
I started with small spots and had growth in less than 2 weeks. By 3 weeks it was fully grown and could be mowed. I didn’t give this a full 5 stars because I had 2 patches that didn’t do anything yet. Probably user error if I don’t get the dirt roughed up enough? Otherwise this is a good product and I’d order again for spot repairs in the future.

Pretty pricey for so-so results.
I followed the directions as well as I could; it recommended keeping your pets off of the area being seeded but when you have a tiny yard that's pretty difficult to do. I didn't expect it to cover much and it certainly didn't. It took a long time to germinate so I ended up applying it twice because I wasn't certain and straw. it was going to come up at all. It was an experiment and I'm glad I didn't purchase a large amount. I've had better results with seed

old? cooked? no viable seeds
complete bust. I have used Scotts EZ products before (bought from Home Depot) and they worked great. like the other 1 star reviews literally nothing happened. no grass from any of the locations applied. like the other Scott EZ product I watered appropriately. typically grass starts shooting up in a week. it has been three now, nothing. I think the product is old, or was stored hot, or something. 16$ down the drain.

Love
Works great to patch spots marred by dog pee. Just scratch up the spot, apply and keep watered. Voila!

Works well
Grass grew in quickly and has taken well. Only downside is it curly doesn't go as far as I would hoped it would and had to order 2 more containers to get a small area seeded properly.

Didn't do what it advertised when followed as directed. That sucks for us.
