Im going to try it out for a few days to see how it adjusts to my wrist, i really could careless about me already scratching it. The leather is bound to get scratched or damaged somehow from work or how i just did. BUT do pay attention to what you're ordering the band is slim and i have a big wrist sooo i actually enjoy thick bands like the ones that originally come with the watch from Samsung. Other than that theres no issues at all, it does smell like leather but it does have a leather and cardboard feeling like to it. So do what you will with this information thanks....Happy Holidays!

You get what you pay for, Subpar product
I'm not normally one to write reviews but I'd like to save someone from potentially loosing their watch. I literally wore this band for 5 hours while walking around at a convention I felt my watch slip off my wrist and hit the ground. The band failed, the build quality is "leather" but remember not all leather is good leather the length and width of the band is also a bit too short not suitable for the size of watch. I wanted a mature leather band it looked good but unfortunately quality is trash

This watch band fits really nice; however, the quality of the leather could be better because the color stars fading as soon as you start wearing it.
