Works amazing, I mainly got it as a way to control my computer from a distance and it was as planned. It's roughly the size of an Xbox one controller and it has pretty much all the features of of a full size keyboard. If you have a media setup or a SIM rig I would recommend it. It is responsive and really easy to use . It's works well with windows 11 and I would say it's great value for money.

I recently purchased the Rii X8 Mini Wireless QWERTY Keyboard, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. Please note this does not use Bluetooth and doesn't claim to - at least one Amazon listing wrongly claims otherwise. It uses a proprietary dongle that is stowed in the battery compartment and that needs to be plugged into the target device. I bought this to replace a similar five-year-old model and find this much better for controlling Kodi running on a Raspberry Pi. Good points are: The keys feel okay - the sizes and spacing aren't too bad for my big hands. Unlike the older device and some cheap knockoffs this device doesn't smell of solvents. The one I received is an actual UK-variant (well, as much as a mini reduced key layout can be) - the 2 key bears a " and the 3 key bears a £. There are fewer keys than on some other devices, however what's there seems to work better with Kodi. The touchpad works hugely better than on the older device and supports some multi-finger gestures such as drag. There's a scrollwheel. Most about this later. Cons: The lighting is tacky. The rainbow gradient you see in the product photos always appears for a couple of seconds when the device is turned on. It then switches to whatever lighting mode you've selected: either the rainbow, one of half a dozen primary colours, or off. I chose off for reasons of aesthetics and battery life. This isn't a remote for your tv. I plugged the dongle into my recent Samsung telly and was able to use the keyboard to ease searching for things in the built-in apps, but normal tv stuff doesn't work. To be fair this keyboard isn't intended to be a TV remote. Out of the box the scrollwheel does nothing useful within Kodi. I wanted to use it to seek video playback backwards and forwards by a few seconds, which is great for jumping past title sequences, recaps and flying studio logos. This is possible, but required a small bit of hand-crafted XML be installed to a particular location on the kodi device and subjected to several rounds of adjustment and debugging to get it working just right. Tech-savvy people should be okay with this but others will struggle. This is not a fault of the keyboard itself, but could be a problem for a common use case. Overall I'm very happy with it.

When I first bought this product (£11.99 at the time) I was rather skeptical and wasn't convinced it would work very well. When it came, I was astonished at how well packaged it was and how everything was laid out. It was a similar to an Apple like experience. The documentation was neatly packed, the product itself was in a nice, premium bag and the little Bluetooth dongle had its own storage place within the battery compartment and was really easy to remove. While using the touch pad, I could feel that a lot of effort has gone into ensuring the quality of this product. The keys had a matte smooth finish that felt premium and the whole casing itself was nicely put together without any creaking when you tried to twist it either. Even the USB dongle looked of high quality with no sharp edges around the plastic which usually occurs in mass production. The scroll wheel, touch pad and every button felt like really good quality with no faults whatsoever. The buttons have a slight firm press so probably wouldn't be suitable for high speed typing but they don't feel cheap in anyway and could eventually become a little softer to press with more frequent usage. Connectivity is quick and easy and never drops out (at least from a range of 3 metres anyway) and is generally very easy to use. The keys are back-lit by various colours should you choose to turn on the lights, they have every FN function as well as an option to increase cursor speed on the fly. I found this to easily replace a mouse and keyboard when you're not at your computer because there is literally nothing this product can't to that you can do with a regular mouse and keyboard. If you considered this for "couch" gaming then I wouldn't really recommend because it is a fairly small product and not really suitable for games unless they're non competitive, simple games. I would definitely recommend this product to everyone needing a touch pad like this for when they're on their bed/couch and I'm surprised it doesn't cost double what it cost me. It truly is a high quality, convenient product and I was absolutely astonished at how well it was built and how good it is overall. I hope the manufacturers see this and get motivated to do more good products like this one.

This Remote control is great for TV/PC use, the backlights make the remote easy to see & the keyboard easy to read in the dark, it works at a very fair range, has all the keys you'd find on most keyboards along with some very convenient shortcut keys like the volume control. The inclusion of left and right click buttons are very useful for people (like me) who aren't used to the trackpad. Unfortunatley, I've noticed 3 main issues with this keyboard that appear every now and then: 1: The backlight LEDs dont light up the blue text on the keyboard, the alternate function key is a nice way to make sure the keyboard has full functionality while remaining compact, but the LEDs don't light up the blue text that tell you what the keys alternate function is, it's kind of ironic because you use a keys alternate function to turn on the LED backlights. 2: The trackpad is a bit dodgy sometimes, sometimes it wont track my movements at all, sometimes it responds to my finger only when I position the tip of my finger directally on the trackpad. Sometimes the trackpad acts up and it can become quite annoying sometimes. 3: The trackpad doesn't work at all when the battery is low, it happens when the light starts flashing to let me know its low on battery, once it starts flashing the trackpad won't respond at all but the keyboard works perfectly fine, it's a very confusing issue that really ruins how great of a product this is. To sum this review up: It's a great product that has a wide range of uses which makes it very convenient but falls flat on it's face when either of the 3 issues I mentioned earlier show up, which is somewhat often. If you want a convenient and versatile remote control, This is certainly a good option but there are better products out there you can choose from instead.

I've been extremely pleased with this mini mouse and keyboard combination controller. The mouse trackpad works surprisingly well and performs better than expected. With this device I can easily do most of my day to day office work standing up comfortably, without needing an expensive standing desk setup. The keyboard is really good once you get used to it and I find I can quickly type with it, so it's very useful for sending emails and working on spreadsheets etc. I don't have anything negative to write about this product and highly recommend you to check it out for yourself. It's one of the best and most useful gadgets I've bought for day to day work. My favorite use for this so far is video editing. This makes video editing a breeze and much more fun and comfortable than sitting down at a desk using a normal keyboard. I can edit video standing up, walking around and watch another TV at the same time, using all kinds of handy shortcuts I've programmed in for this. I think this is a must have gadget to own if you do video editing.

On the whole this product solved my problem of controlling my Pc and media from a comfortable laying position in my bed. Previous to this i had to keep getting up to search and interact with my lap top keyboard. My setup is vast and it was not practicable to have messy leads and extensions from my devices and my preferred positions of comfort. The wireless feature was a no brainer and i love gadgets and the fast pace of useful tools - which make our lives easier. I love it. However, I think the product could have been a little bigger for my large hands and sausage fingers. I don't like the pressure keys on the keyboard. Why couldn't the makers of made them feel like any other keyboard. Even a small calculator has nice pressured touch sensitive features. Perhaps someone could tell me why this product tactile keys are like this?. The power cable as usual is too short. perhaps a longer version could be provided. I also didn't like the rough feel of the track pad. not smooth at all. I still keep thinking its just a calculator in appearance. Maybe design it better to avoid this comparison. The price i thought was excellent.. I think its a product that needs working on to be a great product and not just a good one
