It's a weight and it's good at being a weight!
It's a weight! It has a hole in the middle and it sits on the spindle directly in the center of a vinyl record and stays right where it is placed! Amazing!Seriously it's something I didn't know I needed until I had it. Well made and functional. What else can I say? Cheap and cheerful!

Record Weight Stabilizer in Black
Wasn't sure about it, but I take our Vinyl collection serious, with that said we read up on it, after 2 years of curiosity, I gave in. I really don't like wasting money, I shopped around. This by far was the best value, now if it weighed right, to make a difference...? And it does! Never thought a Record Weight Stabilizer would make a difference, oh but it does! Got it in the color black. One day turn around, very happy with purchase. Appearance, quality, size, color choices, great stability, sound quality - NICE! I would definitely recommend!

Good weight
The product is functional and has a decent heavy weight and is easy to use as well as the fact that it looks very good but looks bigger than expected. Definitely good value for its price.
User
Great record weight! Love the color!!
Iโm not sure of what weight is the best but I took a try with this one and I think it works perfectly!

Looks great on my table
Could be a little heavier but the anodizing seems like good quality

Good investment.
I was skeptical at first but I hear a slight increase in quality, since the disc is not only vibrating less but is being flattened out more on the platter.

Perfect for my vintage deck
Very nice record weigh for vintage vinyl records that are not too thick and rigit and itโs the right weight for those records. It also fit into a vintage linear tracking deck without scrapping the lit because of the low profile. Very happy for both counts.

Buen peso, buen artรญculo, buena calidad
Excelente. Cumple con su funciรณn muy bien. No cambia las revoluciones del plato una vez colocado. Viene en un su caja sin nada de publicidad ni marcas. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

I used to think that audiophiles used it for aesthetics until I bought one
These weights look really cool on my Turntable but does it work ? Let me share my experience with using this particular weight.I took a few months before I purchased this weight since I had doubts about additional weigh and added pressure on the platter bearing of my Turntable. It weighs about 156 Grams and thats the maximum weight I decided to purchase since adding more weight might add excess stress to the platter bearing.I am using it on Technics SL1200 MK2 and after asking around I was informed that it can handle an additional 156 grams with ease. Each turntable is different so use at your own risk or seek advice from actual users of your model or contact the manufacturer of your turntable. I personally think that anything heavier than 156 grams can potentially be detrimental to your TT platter bearing over time. Thats just my personal opinion. If you are using a belt driven TT then a platter clamp might be better on a belt driven TT as opposed to weight a direct drive TT like my SL1200 MK2. Thats the opinion of the knowledgeable people I consulted who agreed that weights and platter clamps have very specific uses based on the type of TT you have. Now what did I experience with this beautiful and well machined weight ? Well, the improvement is not dramatic but noticeable. I purchased this weight simultaneously with an acrylic slip mat as pictured. BTW the TT is not dirty as shown in the picture but it was badly beaten up when given to me and those are scratch marks. Yes. it was cleaned and serviced. Technics Sl1200 MK2 are built like tanks. The correct weigh does a few surprising things. It first acts as a dampener and improves contact with the stylus and and grooves. A few older vinyl that were noisy became less noisy and vinyl in great condition were dead quiet. I noticed a small increase in bass and the mids and highs sounded more pronounced. It's hard to describe but I can only report on what my own ears heard as opposed to any measurements.Adding a 5.5 gram weight in combination with an Acrylic platter is an excellent upgrade to my SL1200 MK2. I give this weight thumbs up and can add this to my list of recommended items if you use it on Direct Drive TT.

A must have weight for your record player !

Nice
Nicely made, I chose this one because it is lighter in weight compared to most, perfect choice for my Rega turntable. Thank you

Nice stabilizer..
Good size and weight..Some stabilizers are just too big and heavy and slows down the table rotation. This is large enough and heavy enough to help keep a record flat without affecting the table speed..Looks good also
