OFF THE TOP: THIS IS A PROFESSIONAL VELCRO AND IS INCREDIBLY STRONG. IT WILL NOT COME OPEN OR LOOSEN OPEN WHILE YOU ARE WEARING IT. THIS TYPE OF VELCRO IS PROFESSIONAL GRADE. AND IT IS USED ON CUSTOM BRACES. IT WILL NOT COME UNDONE UNTIL YOU ARE PULLING ON IT FOR REMOVAL OF THE BRACE. IT WILL NOT QUIT OR LOOSEN ON YOU AS YOU SEE IN CHEAPER BRACES. AS FAR AS FIT, ASIDE FROM THE VELVRO, THIS BRACE IS NOT VERY BULKY AS YOU WOULD FIND IN A CHEAPER BRACE. THE LACK OF BULKINESS IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE IT OFFERS YOU OPTION. YOU CAN WEAR It UNDER/OVER, DENIM JEANS, SWEATPANTS AND MORE. I hAVE WORN IT UNDER MY JEANS. +++THE DESIGN IS MADE TO HELP WITH A VARIETY OF DIAGNOSES***. IT IS VERY COMFORTABLE WHILE I USE IT. AT THE SAME TIME, IT SUPPORTS YOUR KNEE. THE TWO SIDE UPRIGHTS PROTECTS (the uprites are sides of the knee metal pieces) THERE ARE LIGAMENTS ON EITHER SIDE OF YOUR KNEE PROTECTING THOSE LIGAMENTS THERE ARE OTHERS LIKE THE ACL for instance (ANTERIOR CRUCIATE LIGAMENT) THIS BRACE IS MADE TO PROTECT KNEE LIGAMENTS AND THE KNEE AS A WHOLE. THE OPENING AT THE KNEE HELPS WITH PATELLAR TENDONITIS AND DOES NOT INTERFERE WITH THE NATURAL TRACKING OF THE KNEE CAP. WHEN YOU FLEX OR EXTEND, THE KNEE CAP DOES NOT MOVE UP AND DOWN IN A STRAIGHT LINE. RATHER, IT FOLLOWS AN “S” CURVE. THIS BRACE DOES NOT INTERFERE WITH PATELLAR TRACKING. THIS BRACE WILL HELP WITH PATELLAR TENDONITIS, BUT TO BE PERFECTLY TRANSLUCENT, WITH YOU IF YOU HAVE TENDONITIS, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BRACE…. THERE IS A VERY SMALL BRACE MADE FOR PATELLAR TENDONITIS YOU PLACE ON THE TENDON AND VELCRO IT CLOSED. THIS BRACE WILL DIMINISH YOUR PAIN BECAUSE IT Is DESIGNED TO AFFECT ALL THE LIGAMENTS AND THE KNEE AS WHOLE. . IT DIMINISHES PAIN FOR A VARIETY REASONS. CAN BE ALSO BE USED FOR ACL, PCL, AND MENISCUS PROBLEMS/TEARS. THAT COVERS A LOT. THE DESIGN IS MEANT TO SUPPORT YOU WHEN YOU AMBULATE, AND THE METAL UPRIGHTS DONT INTERFERE WITH THAT. STRUCTURALLY, THIS BRACE IS EXCELLENT. IT CAN BE WORN EVEN WHEN SITTING IN A CHAIR OR WHEELCHAIR. I WOULD RECOMMEND CONSULTING YOUR MD OR PT. THE BEST PART IS THAT THE PRICE IS EXTREMELY REASONABLE FOR THE BRACE AND SUPPORT IT GIVES ALLOWING YOU TO HEAL. MANY INSURANCES DO NOT COVER/OR ONLY PARTIALLY COVERS THE COST OF A CUSTOM MADE BRACE. THIS BRACE IS ESSENTIAL IF YOU CANNOT AFFORD A CUSTOM MADE BRACE (THEY ARE QUITE PRICEY) THIS IS WHY I AM GRATEFUL FOR NEEDING THIS BRACE OTHERWISE I WOULD NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS BRACE THAT I PRAY CAN HELP SOME PEOPLE/PATIENTS OUT MONEY WISE. AS FOR ME, MY AMBULATION HAS IMPROVED CONSIDERABLY. IT IS ALL DUE TO THIS BRACE. I ORDERED 5 OF THESE FOR PATIENTS WHO CANT GET A CUSTOM BRACE AND DONT USE THE INTERNET. I WENT INTO THE MEDICAL FIELD TO HELP OTHERS. JUST TO NOTE, I TRIED THREE OTHER BRACES BEFORE I FOUND THIS ONE. OTHER ONES WERE HORRIBLE, THEY WERE ILL FITTED, AND DID NOT DO WHAT THEY SHOULD DO ACCORDING TO THE DESCRIPTIONS. THEN I FOUND THIS. I VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT, AND I WILL RECOMMEND IT TO THE APPROPRIATE PATIENTS, AND FOR THOSE WHO’S INSURANCE WILL NOT COVER A CUSTOM BRACE THAT THEY CANNOT AFFORD. I TRULY FEEL THIS IS AS CLOSE TO A CUSTOM BRACE THAT YOU WILL FIND. THE DESIGN, THE SOLID CONSTRUCTIONS, THE PROFESSIONAL VELCRO, THE BRACE IS NOT BULKY, HELPS ALL ASPECTS OF THE KNEE, IS SUPER CHEAP COMPARED TO THE COST OF A CUSTOM BRACE. I have spent several years searching for a high-quality, supportive knee brace following a serious accident that resulted in a titanium rod in my leg, along with ongoing knee swelling and pain. During that time, I have tried numerous brands and styles, but this knee brace has exceeded my expectations. The construction is excellent—durable, well-designed, and highly supportive—while still being easy to put on and adjust. Upon wearing it, I noticed immediate relief, including reduced swelling, discomfort and improved stability. Unlike other braces I have used, it stays securely in place without slipping or twisting, even during extended wear. I was also particularly impressed with the inclusive sizing options, which made it easy to find a precise and comfortable fit. Overall, this product delivers both quality and performance, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking reliable knee support.

This brace overall works very well. I feel confident it stabilizes my lateral movements better than just a knee sleeve. I wear it mostly around the home after playing pickleball, after icing, just to stabilize my knee. Can be used on either side. Good quality. A little larger than I wanted it to be so I can only really use it for around the home.

I have a 30yr old ACL injury coming back to haunt me as I decided to pick up pickleball. My brain still thinks I'm 20 but my bones insist otherwise. I tried several of the normal elastic braces but they did near nothing for support. I remembered the post-surgery brace I'd had after my acl and how it had metal stabilizer bars and hinges. after a short search I found the neenca brand. Its a bit more than the others butnis worth funding. It doesnt completely eliminate my concerns but certainly mitigates a lot of stress, mental and physical. It is a well made product with large strong staps. The metal hinges are well built, with no plastic gears but are behind a plastic cover. It's comfortable and when I'm playing I dont notice it. If you have a problem with hyper extension this brace may not serve your need. It does allow full movement and is designed to provide lateral support. That said, a clever person could probably figure a way to restrict the gear movement. Also, order a size bigger than the fitment chart. I ordered a large, I'm 5-11 200lb and I dont have fat knees. It fits more tight than loose. If this ever does wear out, I'll be ordering another.

This knee brace is wonderful and has been a huge help. The material is incredibly soft and comfortable against the skin, even if you wear it for a long time. Important Tip: I highly recommend ordering one size bigger than you usually would, as they seem to run a bit small. Once you have the right size, the fit and support are perfect!

This is a nice solid brace that provides excellent support for my medial meniscus tear. Unfortunately, something about the fabric digs into my skin and has caused a rash/allergic reaction with daily use. I tries fitting it over clothing and that helped a bit with the irritation but caused it to not fit perfectly. I wish there was a way to get it to stop digging into my skin, but I'm going to have to look for alternatives long term. If you're looking for something to use occasionally or don't need a tight fit then this will probably work well for you.
