This leather strop is very well made and quite thick so it should provide many years of service for your sharpening requirements. The leather is a very good quality with a nice smooth finish on one side to measure the quality of your honing of your blade's edge. The other side is unfinished so that will provide a nice base so the leather won't move while running your blade along the leather strop. The vendor provides a good description on how to use the leather strop in their webpage so be sure to read that if you aren't sure how to use a strop. Otherwise this is a simple tool that can provide you with that final measure of how sharp your blade is and how well you did sharpening your blade.

Wow so sharp!
This is the best addition to a kitchen. Get all your knives nice and sharp. Also suggest to get the leather strap. Once you sharpen knives and finish on the leather strap, you realize how important it is to protect your blades. I even flip the knife over to scrape the board now.

Works as intended, a larger size would be appreciated
It is a bit small, but it works extremely well. I am going to shopping and this strop adds a fantastic finish in touch on my knives. I just wish it was a little longer and a little wider.

Received a used item. The packaging was damaged and missing seals. The leather is dirty and clearly shows signs of prior use. Very disappointed.

Un accessoire indispensable après le passage à l'affûteur. Ce cuir de qualité permet d'enlever les ultimes morfils et d'apporter une finition rasoir irréprochable au fil de la lame. La fabrication est soignée, le cuir est bien épais et résistant. Utilisé régulièrement sur mes couteaux, le résultat est impeccable en quelques passages seulement. Je le recommande sans hésiter !
