Very high quality case and polyurethane foam - no downsides
This case is an excellent value and I'd take it over higher priced cases like Condition 1. The design is just what i needed. It is very well built and feels extremely rigid and sturdy. The foam, while not polyethylene, is very high quality polyurethane. I bought some polyethylene to replace it with, but now i don't know if i will - perhaps just the top layer for clean cuts... It is just a great case for protecting your valuables - in my case guns. The locks are re-enforced with metal. The handles are a bit tough to clasp and unclasp, but in a good way - not because they aren't lined up or anything like that. It is heavy, but not too heavy and will fit multiple pistols aimed downwards, leaving room for magazines and other accessories. I can't wait to bring it to the range. I could be plucking the foam and organizing my stuff right now, but i felt compelled to review this as soon as i opened the box.

Fort Knox in OD Green: The Ultimate Fortress for My Action Camera Arsenal
When you spend as much time out in the elements filming as I do, gear protection isn't just an afterthoughtโit is the whole ballgame. I recently picked up the Jack Boss 16x 12.8x 6.8 Inch Hard Case in a highly tactical, rugged green finish, and it has completely transformed how I transport my equipment. Right out of the gate, the sheer build quality is undeniable. The high-impact exterior shell feels practically indestructible, absorbing bumps, drops, and the general chaos of travel without breaking a sweat. It has a fantastic, utilitarian aesthetic, but more importantly, it delivers serious peace of mind when I am hauling my expensive action cameras through less-than-ideal environments. โWhat truly sets this case apart is the heavy-duty sealing and locking mechanism. Jack Boss incorporated a superior Powerclaw latching system, and let me tell you, these latches clamp down with an incredibly satisfying, authoritative snap. Once locked in place, the case boasts a legitimate IP67 waterproof rating, completely sealing out moisture, dust, and debris. I also greatly appreciate the integrated pressure release valve positioned right on the front. If you are frequently changing altitudes or taking your gear on flights, this valve equalizes the interior pressure automatically, ensuring you never have to wrestle a vacuum-sealed lid open upon arrival. โThe interior is where the magic really happens for my specific setup. The case comes loaded with thick, cubed pre-cut foam that makes customization an absolute breeze. I was able to meticulously pluck out the exact dimensions needed to cradle my entire fleet of action cameras, spare batteries, charging hubs, and specialized mounts. The fit is exceptionally snug, meaning absolutely nothing shifts or rattles around during transit. To top it off, the convoluted, egg-crate style foam in the lid presses down gently but firmly on the gear when closed, locking every single piece of equipment securely in its designated pocket. โPortability and security were clearly top of mind during the design process of this hard case. Despite its robust footprint and spacious interior, it remains incredibly easy to haul around thanks to the generously sized soft-grip handle. The handle distributes the weight perfectly, preventing hand fatigue even when the case is fully loaded with dense electronics and heavy accessories. Additionally, the stainless steel hardware and reinforced padlock holes on the front corners provide an extra layer of security. I can easily slip in two heavy-duty locks when leaving my gear in a hotel room or the back of a truck, knowing my cameras are locked down tight. โUltimately, finding a protective case that balances rugged durability, precise internal customization, and comfortable portability is a tall order, but this piece of kit delivers on all fronts. It serves as a dedicated, weatherproof vault that keeps my workflow organized and my delicate camera lenses completely out of harm's way. If you need a serious transportation solution that treats your high-end equipment like the vital investment it is, this Jack Boss hard case absolutely knocks it out of the park.

Perfect for stackers and protection of sensitive gear.
Excellent quality! If you're a stacker these work just as well as the purpose-made cases for less than half the price. They can easily be configured to hold 12 tubes. Great for cameras, drones, and other items needing protection as well.

Not waterproof but I'd say water resistant and pretty dust resistant...decent for the price.
Overall, not a bad case but not waterproof as advertised for this purpose I'd probably buy another due to price alone. PRO: Decently durable, should survive an airline's worst even if packed in a duffel with more cases like it. Cheaper than Pelican, has reinforced metal at the lock point to deter lazy thieves. Con: NOT WATERPROOF - they advertised it, didn't see a certification so I was doubtful, failed testing of 4 minutes in water. Not as sturdy as Pelican - noticeably thinner but thick enough. If you need something that is as good/durable/dependable as a Pelican say for a $1,500.00 DSLR body - this isn't it. If you have less expensive gear to replace, aren't taking it on a lake or ocean in a Kayak or small boat where it's more likely to fall in the water, or would get it out fast... probably fine and $100 less than the Pelican equivalent case. THE TEST: The case ring gasket allowed water to enter and dampen the toilet paper I put in to find water on the back left side near the hinge. In the roughly 4 minutes it was in the water barely enough leaked in to dampen the paper but I'd not call this "Waterproof", I'd go with water resistant. I'd be a bit nervous to put it in a truck bed in WA State and drive into the mountains without tarping it, then again I'd never drive a load of electronics in the truck bed into the mountains without a tarp even if my truck was full of Pelican cases. In Arizona, it would be just fine unless it was one of the four days a year around here it rains. Even then, I'm guessing if it was rain, it would do okay. For the gear I bought this case for (Lav Mic, monitor transmitter + remote, cables, batteries) the overall cost isn't high, I'm not putting this on a boat or worse a kayak, the case is suitable - just not "Waterproof" as advertised. )

Great sturdy case
Good size box that fits most items that need cushioning. The little square base for the padding crushes easily to conform to most item's shape so it has a personalized fit in the box. I used my hard case to secure my Olight flashlights. There's plenty of padding from the bottom of the case, and includes a slim foam pad for topping the item's. Super sturdy case and lock tight latches keeps the lid closed well, even has a padlock hole for extra security.

Durable Case
Great small DSLR case if you don't need a lot of accessories. Very durable and comparable to the 3 Pelican cases I have.

Great for camera and 1-2 lens.
Fits my canon r50, rf18-45mm, and rf100-400mm! Love the pluckable foam to ensure all my items are snug. I still have room in this box for other smaller camera accessories, such as the charger and battery. Happy with this purchase
