Sturdy and modern bookshelf
I’m really pleased with this HOOBRO Tree Bookshelf. It’s tall, sturdy, and surprisingly holds a lot more than I expected! The slim design means it fits neatly into smaller spaces, and the clean white finish gives it a fresh, modern look. It was easy to assemble and instantly made my reading corner feel more organised (and stylish!). A great buy for any book lover looking to show off their collection.

Branching Out to Comedy: How a Tree Bookshelf Turned My Life into a Sitcom! 📚🌳😂
Ah, the HOOBRO Tree Bookshelf – the Gandalf of my living room, promising order in the chaos of my book collection. Little did I know, this tall, white savior had plans to add a touch of hilarity to my life.Upon arrival, the packaging screamed sophistication, but my attempt at unboxing resembled a Jimmy Carr one-liner – quick and not entirely graceful. As the tree branches emerged, I envisioned an arboreal utopia for my literary babies. Now, the unique tree-branch structure seemed like a good idea until I tried to organize my books. It turned into a game of "Will this fit?" reminiscent of my attempts at Tetris. Books balancing on branches, I was unintentionally reenacting a slapstick comedy routine.Assembly, they said, would be a breeze. It was more of a whirlwind romance with an Allen wrench. As each branch found its place, I couldn't help but feel like the protagonist in a quirky sitcom episode, complete with a laugh track for added ambiance. The stability of this bookshelf is commendable. It stood tall, defying gravity with a nonchalance that would make Romesh Ranganathan proud. The anti-toppling device assured me that, unlike my life choices, this structure wouldn't tumble down unexpectedly. But, and here's the adult twist, the bottom of the wooden shelves became my floor's worst enemy. Four non-slip pads turned into unintentional skates, and suddenly I was starring in my own slapstick ice-capade. Who knew organizing books could be a winter sport?Let's talk about using this masterpiece on a date. Picture this: a romantic evening, soft jazz playing, and my date asking about my impressive book collection. Little did they know, my attempt to impress led to a domino effect of literature cascading down. Comedy gold, right?Introducing the tree bookshelf to my parents was equally eventful. Dad mistook it for avant-garde art, and Mom saw it as a potential cat tree for our pet-less home. Family discussions reached new heights, literally. The office, however, became a tragicomic stage. My boss entered, saw my attempt at aesthetic sophistication, and promptly declared, "You're fired!" Turns out, artistic expression doesn't always align with corporate sensibilities. But here's the kicker – this bookshelf elevated my social status. It's not just a storage unit; it's a conversation starter. Women find the tree-branch charm irresistible. I'm now the Casanova of literature, juggling dates and books with finesse. In conclusion, the HOOBRO Tree Bookshelf is not just furniture; it's a comedic sidekick in the sitcom of my life. It organizes books, entertains guests, and gives my floor an unexpected thrill. Five stars for turning my home into a laugh-out-loud haven! 🌟📚😆

Sturdy when built correctly.
I thought I'd try this bookshelf out in spite of some of the 1 star reviews.(Note to the video guy... you've built it wrong. The triangular piece should be at the front when completed, not at the back as in your video. That's why yours is wobbly.)Anyway, glad I did. It makes a sturdy and compact shelf that is a bit different from the norm.I found the instruction book very clear and easy to follow, but you do need to pay close attention to where the holes go on each piece before assembling it.I checked all the pieces were as per the pictures before starting and they were all present and correct.Assembly was simple but tedious. (There are a lot of pieces). I used a ratchet screwdriver instead of the supplied Allen key (I'm old-school, don't have a power screwdriver as in the demo video). You could use the Allen key, but you'd have tired fingers at the end.The unit is quite rigid when complete and I have loaded it with a range of books with no sign of any sagging.I haven't felt the need to use the supplied restraining loop to fix the unit to the wall because the shelves are in an out-of-the-way corner in my room and unlikely to be knocked over.Maybe use the safety strap if you have children or boisterous pets.I have deducted a star from my rating for these reasons:Firstly, the base plate isn't really big enough. It doesn't extend beyond the reach of the arms so there could be a problem with toppling if you put weight (large books?) that extends outwards. If you are a DIYer that would be easily fixed by adding a larger base plate but that adds to cost and hassle for a piece of self-assembly furniture.Secondly, the "Made in China" label on the base is fixed to the visible side of the base, rather than hidden underneath. That rather spoils the aesthetics of the thing. I haven't tried to remove it but it looks well stuck. Finally, all the pieces have a sticker number label on them to identify them with the pictures in the instructions. That is a good thing, but the labels aren't easy to peel off when finished. Again, unless you take them off, it rather spoils the appearance. With a bit of thought, the labels could be positioned where they'd be at the back, out of sight and remove the need to peel them off.Overall, four stars. Value for money, borderline. I'd like it a bit cheaper. (Who wouldn't?)I've loaded it up with a fair stack of big books, and it hasn't collapsed or fallen over yet.Good luck.Update: There seems to have been a design change. I looked at the assembly video again, and the construction of the metal frame is different from the one I got. In the video, the frame is held together by what look like plastic plugs that just clip into the metal bars. On my version, the metal bars slot into each other and are held together by machine screws. This could account for why mine seems sturdy and others have said theirs are wobbly and not sturdy. Since this was a recent purchase, I assume the new ones are the sturdy design.

As described
Better that it has the strap to attach to the wall as it still wobbles a bit but looks great and holds a good amount of books, thick wood

Great purchase, very happy
This bookshelf has been a life saver! I'm a very book-ish/academic person and my job requires me to research things and cross reference things on the daily. This meant my desk was always covered in books and very messy. I'd put them away on the bookshelf behind me but I just needed to get them straight back out again/needed to see them in front of me. So this bookshelf now sits on my desk just to the side of my laptop and it's so handy to keep them close by and easily accessible. Managed to fit 24 books on there at the moment and there's still a lot of space. It matches my desk and it looks neat and tidy, strong and sturdy it feels like it will last a lifetime. Very happy.

A nice addition to the room
Looks great! A nice, robust product. We are not the best at self-assembly and did struggle a little with this, but we finally got there.

Self-assemble space saving book trees.
These book trees are a great space saver.I made one out of wood off its for a friend, but needed a larger, sturdier one. As it had a metal spine support I selected this one. + its dimensions were appropriate.Lots of parts. My box had been opened & sealed, as if someone had ordered, opened, seen tiny instructions & lots of parts, & then gave up.Recommend following the step by step instruction’s although the diagram is small, & things could be a bit clearer, particularly regarding the lining up of screw holes on the spine. (I had to take half of it apart once neatly assembled. But I enjoy these things.)The only other issue I had was the right angles triangle support at the bottom did not have aligned holes attaching it to the base, which although small is integral to weight baring. (I have a drill & some nouse, & a lot of patience for flat pack assembly stuff, but if you haven’t a drill, ask a friend, if it’s a recurring issue.)1star deducted per issue.Overall very happy with colour, design & it’s space saving. The tree is full, weighty cook books at bottom, & they are accessible. In small nooks or living spaces, this is the ideal design. Do secure to a wall if you have pets, kids or balance issues though. 😉

Fiddly but worth the while
Great little book case but fiddly to put together. My advice is really study the diagrams especially where the holes are. Despite looking at the diagrams I went wrong 2 or 3. It looks like a Chinese puzzle when you start but if you follow the instructions it does come together ok. Every hole lined up & all bits & pieces were present, in fact more than needed. It only needs Allen keys which are supplied unless you intend to attach it to a wall then you'll obviously need a drill but all components are provided. It's actually a nice little Bookcase & takes a good number of books.Your mission if you decide to accept it lol.Good Luck

A conversation piece
I like it a lot and my guests thought it was neat to look at. It won't hold many books but that was obvious from the start.
