Only the ones that stay open, like the crocodile. The others don’t open.

Why does this set have meerkats? There are no meerkats in Madagascar.

It’s an amazing set. I wouldn’t get all tense and worked up about whether it’s geographically accurate or not. The kids love it. It’s well made. Can be used for playing with or school projects. Isn’t that more important? No such thing as pink or blue bears or elephants, but they are huge sellers too. Relax. Enjoying the set with the kiddos is what important!!!

We received a crocodile, chameleon/lizard, black-faced monkey, snake, 4 meerkats, a lemur (with striped tail), a tortoise, and a marmoset

Are these soft and flexible?

Hi. They are sturdy and hard but not in a bad way. I bought them for their realistic look and being able to stand in a fixed position.
