Was genuinely shocked how well this works. Adults and kids both enjoyed the novelty. A fun way to add a touch of whimsy without being tacky. Easy to use & quick (only takes a few seconds)

Excellent for bourbon drinks

This ice cube design tray is quite neat. It does elevate the look of your cocktails (as long as you have actual clear ice cubes) but there are some practical issues I have had this product and some solutions to these problems. First it is difficult and impractical to put a design on each side of the cube. It takes more than 5 seconds to really get the design on the cube so I found it better to just let the ice cube sit on one side (which will be the top side when it is in the glass) for a few minutes. The next thing is that the design will quickly go away if you pour your drink over the cube, to resolve this issue use your bar spoon to gently set the ice cube in your drink and it will keep the design safer. The last issue I have doesn’t have a good solution, the “special” designs (not the patterns) don’t seem to last at all. They disappear almost immediately where as the simple patterns last for a good while. I am not sure why this is but it was kind of a disappointment. So overall this is neat but I wouldn’t buy this again. It does make a good decoration piece in a bar area.

I have been wanting one of these for such a long time. I was so excited to get it. It took weeks for it to come, (actually had to order a second one since the first one never actually arrived,) and it was shipped in a box with a couple other items. One of the other items bent it, and I had to bend it back. The metal it’s made from us incredibly soft, so that could be an issue down the road. It’s a really great item in theory for a bartender. Very cool. I just wasn’t too happy with the logistics of finally getting it. The rubber mat it stays in is great. The carrying bag is nice. Everything is great. Just wish it could’ve been handled a bit better.

This works great! The reviews comparing this aluminum version to brass are correct, but some context is needed. In full disclosure, I am a professional engineer who has some understanding of thermodynamics and has similar brass and this aluminum ice press product. Yes, brass does have better heat retention than aluminum. But the opposite is also true. Once brass cools down it also takes longer to heat back up. Aluminum is quicker to cool, but it also re-heats quicker. Essentially, it comes down to the re-heating and cooling cycle. More frequent but faster re-heating with aluminum or less frequent but slower re-heating with brass. Given the aluminum versions cost significantly less, I don't think you can go wrong, and highly recommend this product. I also have a trick that allows me to mass-produce cubes, even using this aluminum version. I use a microwaveable heating gel pack. Put the gel pack in the microwave for 1.5 to 2 minutes, put the ice pattern on the gel pack then press away!

Magico non ci credevo eppure fa velocemente l impronta sul ghiaccio . L ho preso più che altro perché non ci credevo da ex barista curiosa e costa poco rispetto al primo che ho visto in vita mia forse l originale . Questo è un bell'oggetto abbordabile . Lo userò per stupire i miei amici a casa all ora dell' aperitivo . Bellissimo come regalo se avete barman nella sfera dei conoscenti .
