I read that you should do your regular cleans naturally with vinegar and water and save products like this for a deep monthly clean. Any thoughts pls?

I think that vinegar and water is good to neutralise the smell of urine but is not necessarily disinfectant (ie/ does not kill bacteria and viruses as a disinfectant May).

Hi, You spray it onto the are you need cleaning and wipe it with a cloth to clean. It has a safety nossel that needs to be twisted in order to open it and then point to the area and squeeze the trigger. Hope this helps

It does... But is also sold specifically as 'safe for small animals' so I doubt very much if Johnsons want to open themselves to the massive liability which breaking such a clearly stated assurance would bring.Don't forget all these cleaning products are 70-85% water anyway, depending on the concentration and good old water is still a chemical after all! A particularly hazardous one at that!The type of product you really want to avoid for cats and dogs and other small furries are the ones that contain phenol compounds--they are especially toxic for cats in particular and should be stringently avoided.

Hello, when removing the disinfectant after 15 minutes do you wash with water or simply wipe dry with a kitchen towel? Thanks

I just wipe dry usually unless it's food bowls or drinking bottles then I rinse those with water after.

Good value for money, smells lovely and is good for our pets

This is an easy to use product at a good price when I purchased it. It has a lovely delicate smell. It is tough on stubborn dry patches of the Degu cage. It was very well wrapped on arrival which was great as I've had products leak before. Keeps the cage smelling fresh and I'm reassured it is safe for our pets.

Love this stuff

Used for weekly hamster cage cleans. Love the smell and gets right into the dort and bottom of the cage. Best left for 10mins as instructed then wipe wash away. Doesn't leave any smell once dried either just lovely and clean.
