How long is the cable on this model?

The cable on mine is approx. 1.7m (5' 6")

would this work on a swann cctv system

Dear Sylvia W? Could you give me a little more info about your cctv system? How new is it. I'm only asking this question because my mouse is quite elderly (by tech standards) and I don't want to recommend something that is (or will be obsolete) I use a mouse and a clunky "old-fashioned" laptop and PC because I'm physically-disabled. Hope this makes sense. Please let me know if I can help further. Best wishes, Ruth R

how soft does the 'click' feel?

A bit like goldilocks, not too hard and not too soft, so about right
