Disney's Countdown to Christmas: A story a day

This was my daughters’ favorite Christmas book this year! There are 24 different Disney Christmas stories and they take less than 5 minutes to read. Great opportunity to read with the kids, perfect length for bedtime, and fun Christmas stories.

I have bought a few book advent calendars over the years, and often times the books are super long, even though they look tiny, and my kids lose focus easily. Every story in this book is only two pages, so it’s the perfect length, but still gives us a reason to sit down and have a story every evening in December. Cute Disney stories as well. I would definitely recommend this.

We did this instead of an advent calendar this year and it was a great! The stories were cute, a good length, and had all of my daughter's favorite characters. We read stories every night before bed and she would talk about this book all day.

So we read a story every single day, yes I may have heard one or two of the stories before in the past but that's really not that big of a deal. They are all Christmas themed which is nice. And I see there was actually one for Christmas day and not just the day before. I thought we were done on Christmas Eve. The kids enjoyed all the stories. It definitely doesn't have as many pictures but if it did the book would be much thicker. But it is similar to their really big story book where there's just little pictures on there so my kids are already used to that. if you're looking more for a picture book I would say go with something else, but if you are fine with a couple pictures but mainly a storyline then this is a great book. I like that it has the green ribbon to mark our spot for where we are. I am very happy with our purchase. I thought the stories in there were very sweet and I was okay with the pictures being small in the words being small. It didn't seem to bother my kids at all. I hope my review has been helpful. This book is really cute. It's Disney so what's not to love. I got this for my daughter for her birthday which is towards the end of December. She loves to read and be read to. We waited until December 1st to start and read one Christmas story each night which counts down until Christmas and even has one for Christmas day. It is full of Christmas themed stories for not only princesses, but Wall E , Aristocats, a Bugs Life and more. It's a short story, each one is roughly two full pages but the print is small so it's a decent read for bed time. There are pictures scattered between the two pages so along with reading the story you can see some pictures with it. Since the print is on the small side the book isn't thick at all but it is hard cover, brightly colored and definitely a hit in this house. I'm glad I purchased it and my daughter is too.

Cute christmas stories with Disney characters. My kids got to open a new story to read every night before bed for the 24 days before Christmas.

Great quality book perfect for Disney fans of any age. This book is filled with cute holiday stories.

My 4 year old loves this book and I found it is a good alternative to advent calendars filled with chocolates. All our favourite Disney characters are in it, I highly recommend it.

I bought this book for my kids for the month of December so that we could read a story a day before Christmas. The stories are entertaining and my kids loved the different Disney characters. They even ask me to read the stories throughout the rest of the year too.

Loved the idea of this book to run alongside an advent calendar. 25 different short Christmas Disney stories....great for us as this is our first book like this. I have however read that if you have already bought a book like this that some of the stories are repeats. Really lovely book

This is such a perfect idea if you want something more than a chocolate advent calendar, but don’t want all the little toys that most come with! The stories are the perfect length for my three year old and will make a great tradition every year! I love it!!

An adorable and fun Christmas count down that’s great to read to just your kid or as a whole family . Stories are very cute !and it’s a nice ‘advent calendar’ idea that doesn’t involve chocolates/candy or a bunch of silly Knick/knacks but rather valuable time spent together :-)
