Best headphone around $50 range, and overall BETTER than the cheaper E2000...
This is probably the best earphones at the $50 range you can buy for HiFi sound. I was planning to buy this per some audiophile good reviews, however, then I saw some YouTube videos and some reviews here on Amazon preferring the cheaper E2000, So, I bought them both and tried them for 2-3 weeks to see which is better. E3000 is made out of stainless steel and it feels and look great, it has more heft and more premium feel to it. E2000 is Aluminium and while still very very high quality for the price range, cannot match the E3000 feel. The rest of the package is identical, the wires, accessories in the box, etc... It comes with additional ear pieces in different sizes but I found the installed ones to be comfortable so I didn't try any of the others. Speaking of which, the rubber ear pieces are quite comfortable for long listening and fit and stayed in my ear with no issues. E3000 vs. E2000 I can say that 100% if you're more of an audiophile, prefer a flatter sound, like a bit higher quality material, the E3000 is a better earphone. The E2000 is also a fantastic headphone, BUT it was too bright for my liking, and TIRING for longer listening... it definitely lacked bass and generally I think works better for more techno, electronic music, while E3000 works for Jazz, Blues, etc... (Audiophile music). For comparison, I listened to them on my desktop with an external DAC, AND on my iPhone listening to lossless Tidal music. I compared on Rock, Jazz, Blues, and some pop and electronic music and found that E2000 had a "higher" treble that to me sounded a bit harsh and too much attenuated, and I actually had to LOWER the volume on my iPhone for it to be comfortable to listen to, while on E3000, I could go to Max volume and it sounded great. I attribute this to some boost at higher frequencies on E2000 which makes it bright and harsh at higher volumes and definitely NOT an Audiophile quality. Compared to Sony EX650AP Now, in comparison to my other top earphones, Sony EX650AP (I bought from Japan) for around $100. They are not as of a great tight fit (Sony is the best I've ever had), and Sony build quality a tad better, and their wires a bit higher quality. BUT, the sound on E3000 is simply more revealing, flatter, and more audiophile. Also, one main reason I bought these, was to see if they fit with iPhone battery pack, and they do! So, at the end, I returned the E2000 and kept E3000. You can't really go wrong with either, but it kinda depends what do you prefer. Crisp, brighter sounding or flatter, more bottom end? Either case, GREAT VALUE for these Japanese earphones. Highly recommended! Pros: - Very light and easy to wear - Super high quality stainless steel enclosure, why above the price range - Fantastic controlled bass - Great midrange and NOT TIRING treble (vs. E2000) - 3.5mm jack works with iPhone battery pack (see pics) - Easy to drive with your phone - Overall a very HiFi sounding earphone, mostly flat through most of the range and great for listening to Jazz, Blues, Rock Cons: - No volume or phone control - The wire could be slightly better, but at $55, it's quite adequate

Comfy and durable - great as beater IEMs
The sound quality is not that great by an absolute standard but it's alright for the price I'd say. The sound signature I would describe as warm-neutral. Most people will find it inoffensive. The treble and upper mids (including female vocals) are recessed, so they're great if you're treble sensitive. Personally I don't use them for music anymore, the sound signature is far too bland (not to mention lacking the detail of higher-end IEMs), but they are great for listening to Youtube videos/streams and stuff like that where you don't need top quality. Great comfort-wise: they're small and unobtrusive. I used the medium tips at first and they felt and fit great, better than any silicone ones I've tried, but they unfortunately ended up compressing over time so I switched to the large ones, which were less comfortable at first but seem to have broken in over time. (Actually now I have switched back to the medium ones, the large ones kept popping out of my ears.) Do note that they don't isolate that great - you'll be able to hear outside sounds and the sound of the earphones will leak out somewhat. The wind also whistles through the open grill in the back - not ideal for outdoor use. I love the cable, which is very soft and lightweight. It seems durable so far despite how thin it is. In fact they are super durable as a whole, they make great beater IEMs and I use them every day. Maybe the biggest issue with them is the left/right indicators - a very light outline surrounding a metallic "L" / "R" which is impossible to see at night.

Fussy about sound but these are keepers
I am not shy about returning headphones I don't like but these are KEEPERS. This might be the happiest I've been with some earphones since my beloved Nuforce NE-700X. But to be fair those cost $90 in 2014. Update after 2 weeks of use: I went to a larger tip and now they don't sit as far in my ear. The bass and soundstage both improved with more air around the instruments. I really like these. I don't find myself thinking oh they do this, or they don't do that with regard to sound. The just play the music. That little TINY bit of graininess is gone with some break in I guess. While I don't listen to Metal or EDM they handle all genres of music well and handle more complex music like rock well compared to others I have tried. They come with 4 size tips so finding the right size is easier compared to pairs that only come with 3 size tips. The tips grip the nozzle really well but still come off and go on pretty easily. They come with some really small ear hooks but I haven't tried them yet. There is no listening fatigue yet they are still pretty accurate. They do not go really loud but they do go loud enough for me.I haven't played with EQ much because I haven't felt the need. Wires are thin and tangle pretty easily and don't untangle very easily. I have not noticed any microphonics. Of course, I'd like to have $100 buds but for $55 dollars they hit my nice but I won't cry if I lose them price point. =========================================== Original review They are not even broken in yet (and they don't need it) but my only real complaint and it's nitpicky, but they have a touch of graininess. But nowhere near as much as the Carbo Tenor. These are very neutra with decent detail while never being too bright. There is nice seperation between instruments but not much of a soundstage but there is nice amount of 'air' around the intruments. They do not have a lot of extension but they are not bass shy like the Carbo Tenor were. Drums sound natural, again not like the Carbo Tenor where they sounded more like carboard boxes. They are very light so they very comfortable. (I like straight earphones the best) The default tips fit me the best which is a nice change for me. There is next to no strain relief on the earphones as you can see in the picture so if you are hard on headphones, maybe consider other phones. on the good side the lack of strain relief makes them very comfortable worn wire up which i want for the gym. They have vents on the back so I doubt that isolation is very good for in-ear phones. In summary these are nuetral sounding with out any of the 'problems' of hifi. They are never over sibilant and they do not punish badly recorded songs or when listening to low bit rate stuff like pandora. I would call them fun for working out but they are not too dry if the quality of the music is what you want. They are not going to impress anyone or give you an eargasm when listening to your best music. But at $54 I'm extemely please with them and for me are a big step up from the Carbo Tenor unless you are impressed by a forward/blaring sound.

Made by a hi-end audio company doesn't mean they have terrific sound. They are just OKAY
Don't expect what you get is more than what you paid. Made by a hi-end audio company doesn't mean they have terrific sound. They are just OKAY, literally, OKAY (initially I wanted to say "MEH" but since you can improve E3000s sound by plugging it into desktop amps so they deserve an OKAY), even at this so-called low price. The sound signature of E3000s is soft and sweet without any sibilance, which is a good thing based on the audiophile rules. However, at the same time, the highs and mids are veiled and the bass is very slow, which makes them shine at certain songs (like some Jazz/Funk/Disco or Asian ACG stuff) but mess up on almost every other genre. So, if you really love some specific songs that E3000s are good at or if you really fancy the unique sound signature that E3000s have or if you really think everything from this luxury brand Final Audio Design is worth the money (we call this FAD cult), take these E3000s home and enjoy yourself. Other than those, use your 50 bucks somewhere else. E3000 actually earned a score of 3.5/5.

FAD? Simply Amazing ...
I usually don't leave reviews but I was left speechless by these. How should I put this? First of all, WOW. They are gorgeous. For the sound ... This has been the sound signature I have been trying to re-locate since my dreams with JVC hi-end line and the Monsters turbine series. It’s my Audiophile dream coming to life all over again. Let me just cut straight to the sweets. I'm a bass-head but I love balance when bass is controlled and the frequencies are strong enough to support it. The e3000 are capable of producing tight bass that is felt. The amount of natural bass I am hearing from these, given their price range, is truly and absolutely stunning (Exceptional since they only reach down to 20hz). Not the loudest but one of the clearest. The mids are clear and rather solid. My set is post burn-in and they do have that fresh out of the box sound. They exhibit great effects and can position themselves correctly if and only if the song demands it, else they tend to be positioned directly center stage. I personally prefer a more floaty mid that is positioned slightly over the head but the imaging is great for this earphone and detail is pretty nice. I hope imaging and detail improve with burn-in The highs are where most audiophiles will say it’s lacking in when compared to some higher end sets. The highs are very present, consistent and add nice sparkle to the treble, but that's just it. It isn't the most defined. However, I would be crazy to tell you that they don't still sound insanely good for this price range, especially because this earphone can go loud without many audible frequency spikes or frequency distortion. Fit is perfect and for a 6.4mm driver, these easily beat out any in-ear under $150 price range. This is all before any burn-in has occurred. Update: 5 hours in. I’m starting to hear more micro detailing and expansive soundstage. This is unbelievable. Any audiophile out there should be willing to give these sub $60 pair a chance as there is no disappointment here to be found.

Well, they WERE my favorite IEMs
Great sound quality, profile, aesthetics, loved everything about them. I thought they were amazing for the price, except they stopped working after 5 months. What a joke.

They only lasted 4 months
Pros: * I have small ear canals, so almost nothing fits, but these are pretty comfortable. * They sound great, at least for talking videos on YouTube. Cons: * The backs of the earbuds (decorative) fell off within 3 months. * About 5 months after purchase, the left bud fell apart and started remaining in my ear when I removed the cable, requiring tweezers to extract. At this cost, I expect earbuds to last for years.

Most comfortable earbuds i've ever used
These headphones sound great, although they don't provide too much in terms of blocking outside noise. Once you have music going through them though, it can drown out the sounds while on a bus. on top of that, they are low profile enough to be comfortable enough to sleep with. The thinness of the cable adds to the comfort, but it could also call the durability into question. Personally, I haven't had durability concerns with it, despite rolling them up to put in a case and using them during my commute to and from work, alongside sleeping with them in and getting a little tangled in the cable everyday for months. The only reason my first pair died was because I accidentally sent them through the washer... but with such a thin cable, having a replaceable connection would have been nice though i can understand at this price. Even with the size of the earbuds aside, the Final audio ear tips included with these are the only silicone ear-tips that I can reliably get a good seal with. Usually I have to get foam tips (usually Comply) whenever I use earbuds since my left ear will seal, but the right one always has trouble getting a good seal. I have now upgraded to an IEM (IKKO OH10) but out of the stock tips, Sony hybrid tips, spinfits, and dekoni foams, only the Final eartips are comfortable and seal well on those. I've given away my second pair of the E3000s when i got the IKKO OH10s but i miss the lightness and comfort so much that i may end up getting a third pair of these or if i have the budget, i may explore some of the other final audio stuff since they've really impressed me with earbuds i've tried so far from them.

Great product, great sound quality for the price
As you may see in the photo, I've not used the stock tips, they were a little too small for my ears, so I've used the large Spinfit cp145 on the E3000, which I use with most of my IEM's as well, they provide a better seal, which gives me the full sound of the E3000, which is quite detailed.. They have pretty good details, bass is pretty tight and punchy, treble extension is good too. Mids are pretty okay, overall a pretty good sounding, pretty detailed little bullet style in ear.. They are pretty small, light and comfortable.. I would have no issues listening to these for hours 👌 A level of detail I would expect from Final, at an entry level price..

Small, warm, powerful and a lot of fun.
These are great little earphones and they really are little. There is nothing little about their sound though. These elegantly designed earphones have a big warm sound. If you are seeking a precise and accurate presentation of the highest resolution recordings of jazz or classical these ain't your earphones. If you want a warm, inviting and soothing sound these may be for you. I have many headphones to choose from and I may use the same one for a while but on many days I find myself using the e3000 because its so pleasant and easy going. An odd thing about them is that they seem to sound better the longer you have them. They also have a reputation for being bass cannons and it is well deserved. With lively electronic music like that by deadmau5, the bass hits very hard but, it isn't a bloated glob of gross bass, it has a punchy slam to it. If you like some definition to your bass these are a more refined way to get your hit. They fit a little bit different from others due to their size. You insert them into your ear canals without force until you feel resistance. The ear tip holds the steel housing in place and the housing sticks out from it and can pivot like a joystick, you can move it about quite freely. This is by design, as long as the tip is seated it doesn't matter what angle the housing is at. Final call this their swing fit design. I have used Comply foam tips for a brief time which are effective to get a good ear seal and even more secure fit but have the effect of making the bass less defined and a little unpleasant. Foam tips can be great to tame screechy earphones but aren't ideal with those that sound warm already. The tips made and supplied by Final are among the best available and would cost about $20 to buy on their own. I've tried a few different tips of similar price just out of interest and none were as effective. They work just fine played on a phone headphone socket. I use a small DAC/amp or dongle out of habit and the power can add a little extra to some music but it isn't essential.

Great IEM that requires power.
For reference, I own HD650, HD25, Sundara, HD58X, MDR-CD900st, Tin T2 and KXXS. Also, I have been using these IEM for 2 weeks. I bought this because my Tin T2 is beaten up after 2 years of heavy use on the go. Due to the pandemic, most chi-fi IEMS cost a lot more than it used to so I bought this one for 70$. My first impression of these IEM through my phone using an Apple USB-C dongle was pretty grim. It sounded like 20$ IEM where there was no real detail, V-shaped, underwhelming bass that was a bit muddy and average soundstage. The first thing I did was changing the eartips with some Dekoni Bullets. This made the IEM sound a little more bassy and comfortable to my ears. After looking around online, people often mention that these need a lot of power which is strange for a budget IEM. I connected these to my desk setup (JDS Labs Atom) and the sound was completely different. The bass was much heavier but enjoyable to me. You retrieve more detail and but high are nothing close to other IEMs or headphones like the Sundara or even the Tin T2. I will have to carry my BTR5 around with me while using these IEMs. Pros: - Warm sounding - V-shaped - Imaging is solid at this price point - Soundstage is excellent with power - Excellent price point - Great size, design and weight - Extremely comfortable (especially with foam eartips) - Non fatiguing in sound and comfort Cons: - Requires a crazy amount of power from an amplifier if you want the best sound! - Thin IEM cable that you find on cheap 20$ earphones, so I don't see these survive past a year of heavy use on the go. - Bass might be overwhelming on some tracks (ex: Electronic music) Overall, I would recommend these IEMs for 2 types of people. People who are into this hobby and want an IEM that is not analytical for under 100$. It scales amazingly with good equipment. Also, people who simply want to upgrade their apple earphones for casual all-day listening.

Prejudica a audição ).

Warm sound and good tuning for the price
Excellent sound and exactly what i expected after reading some reviews. The sound is warm and sounds good especially with male vocals, but makes for a very smooth and airy listening experience, perfect for my taste. A bit more technicality and seperation in the sound would make this perfect, but it is already perfect for the price! (purchased for 34aud with $10 coupon).
