KT60 works with 9–16V, 2- or 4-stroke distributor-type gasoline engines with spark plug wires. Not for diesel or CDI ignition systems.

Can I see the timing marks clearly in daylight?

KT60 is clearest in a garage, shaded area, or away from direct sunlight. Strong sunlight can reduce strobe visibility. Shade the timing mark when needed and keep the light away from belts, fans, and hot parts.

What should I check if the strobe does not flash?

Check the basics first: pickup on the No. 1 spark plug wire, arrow toward the spark plug, red clip to battery +, and black clip to a clean engine ground.

What should I check if the RPM or timing readings seem unstable?

Make sure the pickup is fully clamped on the No. 1 spark plug wire with the arrow toward the spark plug. If the readings still fluctuate, check for nearby ignition interference.
