I was a little nervous about trying a permanent dog hair dye, but this orange turned out fantastic! The color is super vibrant, shows up beautifully, and gives my pup, such a playful, unique look. It really makes her stand out in the best way! Application was straightforward, and the formula didn’t have a strong chemical smell like human hair dyes do. But it did smell like vinegar. Most importantly, my dog had no irritation or discomfort during or after the process, which was my biggest concern. The color has held up really well – bright and bold. I bought this dye to make my Maltese mix match my tricolor Bernedoodle, and I’m honestly impressed with the results. The brown looks exactly like advertised, and the black is a true, rich black—not faded or ashy at all. The colors turned out great and blended beautifully. Application was easy and straightforward. The directions were clear, and the product spread well. While it was processing, I ran a metal comb through the coat to make sure the roots were fully covered, which worked perfectly. My only complaint is the amount of product. My dog is about 16 lbs, and I used every last drop just to cover his back. I definitely would have needed a second box for touch-ups or full coverage. The quality is there—I just wish there was more product included. Overall, great color, easy to use, and excellent results—just plan to buy more than one box if your dog isn’t tiny.

Pretty easy to use as it is a gel and it definitely seems very safe. It smells just like the old fashioned Easter egg dye with vinegar! The only difficulty I had was keeping our girl from getting the dye all over herself and the house so I waited for a nice day so after I applied it to her tail I wrapped the glove I was using around her hair carefully with a rubber band and let her run around outside for the recommended time (20 minutes) plus an extra 10 because she has wiry hair. I got it on my hands that took a little while to wear off but that was my mistake taking my gloves off in a hurry to answer the phone in the midst of everything. We are very happy with the results. Trudie’s sister Razzell had to get in on the fun. Daddy’s little girls look really cute. 😊

Used this on a mini golden doodle with apricot color fur. The pink stayed on her ears perfectly. I put it on in February and its now almost april and its still looking good!

I have used this twice on my dog! First we did Innocent Blue and then Adorable pink a couple months later after the blue had mostly faded. The blue was not super vibrant on his tail and appeared more teal due to the color of his fur (last photo of his normal tail for context). Definitely very vibrant and super blue on the whiter parts of his tail though. I dyed his tail in August and with regular monthly baths it had mostly faded on the darker parts of his tail but remained a nice light blue on the light parts by October. By December it had pretty much completely faded. Adorable Pink, on the other hand, VERY VIBRANT! Moreso magenta to be specific (unsure if thats just how the color looks or if it's due to his fur color). This was fairly recent so I'm unsure how it'll hold up. I was worried the color wouldn't set as I've heard some not so good things about pink dye ending up super light, that didn't happen though! It was much harder to wash off if I got it on the wrong spots than it was with the blue, even if I washed it off almost immediately. Absolutely no noticeable smell before or after. The dye is INCREDIBLY liquidy and messy. It's almost guaranteed you will make a mess, especially with an unpredictable animal being your muse. I recommend pouring it into a container before applying it rather than it straight from the bottle.

1st time user & I do need practice lol. Wore latex & dishwashing gloves & colored my dogs in the kitchen sink. I wore double gloves because I was afraid it might stain my nails ( natural not fake ). Make sure you shake thoroughly! It will look white while mixing . Use a bowl that you don't mind if it stains because it may not come out, although it did after a run through the dishwasher . I applied with a make up brush on my 4 lb dog's face because he's lost all color and he looks old beyond his years. Didn't like the job I did so I waited 3 days and redid it and I need to work on my technique. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Used it also on my yorkie to keep her back black instead of silver. It looks harsh at 1st but the color softens. I do mean vivid black !!! They went swimming a week later and it didn't fade out in the water. No skin issues. No awful smell. I covered one dog with a towel because I was only doing his face. Then for the yorkie I left the door open so the Texas heat kept her from getting chilled. Covered their eyes with a washcloth to rinse. Did not see any eye irritation, scratching, pawing, rubbing on furniture or redness afterwards. I'm on a very tight budget but when I can afford it? I'm buying the brown color as well. Very pleased with the results. Was intimidated because I'm not the type to even dye my hair so this was breaking ground for us. Keep the dye in the box in a ziploc bag just in case of staining. Had some on my elbow but it washed off quickly and I didn't even notice it. It's been about 3 1/2 weeks and I see some of the lighter color coming through. However on the yorkie that might because I did not saturate her hair since I wanted to make sure she did not have a reaction to the dye. I plan to stay with this brand & as I mentioned I will buy the brown after I balance next month's budget to blend in some of the colors. Great product. 💯 recommend.

I LOVE this pet dye. I tried Critter Color previously and it was not good. OPAWZ is excellent though. Vibrant colour, easy to use, doesn't stink, did not irritate my dog's skin. She is black with a grey bum and tail and her back end looks so cute. I will definitely try this brand again.

I got the purple and aqua. Purple it true permanent, fades a bit but has to grow out. Aqua fades completely away even without further washing.

Genial, lo compré para mi rottweiler porque de repente empezó a cambiarle el pelo a marrón y estaba muy rara, aunque el bote es pequeño y no me dio para todo el cuerpo jaja. Pero se ha quedado con el negro intenso que tenía antes, con brillo y no sé si fue gracias al tinte pero también dejó de caerse el pelo, que se le caía a cachos.

Amazing stuff. Worked a treat. Don’t like having to wash first, but understand this is to remove oils. Used 6 weeks ago and two baths later colour is still as strong as ever. Highly recommended. Follow the steps correctly for best results. I prepared a towel to sit with my dog so that it didn’t go all over the furniture. So be mindful it’s like asking a toddler to sit sill for 20 minutes.
