Solid choice for this type of gadget
I needed to throw an HDMI signal (standard 1080p 60Hz) across the house. I also wanted to be able to monitor the image locally at the source, so that I wouldn't have to walk across the house to check on the image and sound. Enter this set of gadgets. I've used Orei products before (their HDMI splitters are REALLY nice and rock-solid) so I chose this product with some confidence. I was not disappointed. These worked exactly as described, throwing the signal cleanly to the destination. The local HDMI loop out worked just fine. The RF Blaster transmitter and receiver units worked very well too, which made remote control of the source very simple. In all, everything worked precisely as it should and held up solidly for a session that lasted MANY hours (probably about 5 or 6 hours of continuous operation). These Orei boxes barely got warm. I couldn't be more pleased with the performance of this product, and the price is mind-boggling cheap. Notes: Cat-5e and Cat-6 cables are slightly different internally. You will get longer range from a Cat-6 cable than a Cat-5e cable. Unless you're using existing Cat-5e for whatever reason, I'd recommend procuring a well-made Cat-6 cable to go with this Orei product. You'll get the maximum transmission range with Cat-6 cable. According to the manual that came with this product, Cat-5e range for 1080p 60Hz signal is 197ft maximum and Cat-6 range for 1080p 60 Hz signal is 230ft. The ranges for a 4K 30Hz signal are 115ft for Cat-5e and 131ft for Cat-6. An odd quirk: the local HDMI loop out didn't work for me until I plugged in the receiver at the other end of the Cat-6 cable I used. It seems you HAVE to connect the transmitter and receiver together in order to see anything on the HDMI loop out. Not a problem at all, but kind of odd. Just needs to be kept in mind when setting up. Finally, this product is powered from the transmitter end only. You do not need to power the receiver (in fact the receiver doesn't even have a power port). This is nice - some products of this type require power on both ends but this one does not. Makes for simpler installation/deployment.

OREI top video matrix splitter
OREI is an amazing solution for syncing my big screens in my entertainment room. Easy to install and works extremely well. Amazon shipping was overnight and installation took about 15 minutes after I strung the CAT6 cable.

Passed with flying colors
We purchased these for our church, to project a feed of an organist giving a recital. The organ console is up in the organ loft, and we wanted a projector down front in the church. These units worked flawlessly with 200’ of cat7 cabling, and there was no noticeable lag. I’m sure there was a millisecond or two, but tbh, it was essentially instantaneous, and whatever lag there was could have been a result of the older camera that we borrowed (or the projector) to produce the feed. As best I can tell, these units themselves are essentially perfect. They units were rock solid in concert, and I’m thrilled with the purchase. So with decent cabling, I can confirm these units work at LEAST 200’.

Works flawlesly
I purchased this to run an HDMI signal through conduit that was too small to run an HDMI cable. Picture quality is great, no problems so far.

Had some issues but resolved, has been stable since
Update 2 (January 2023): At some point shortly after my last update, I was able to get this functioning again. At this point, I don't remember what I changed. I may have swapped out some cables. The problems I experience (and still occasionally experience) seem to be HDMI-CEC related. Every so often, I have to turn off the power to all of my devices (including unplugging my TV from the outlet), reseat all of the HDMI connections, and power everything back up. This process will typically resolve any feed or control issues. Luckily, this doesn't happen too often - maybe 3 or 4 times a year. I do still get red lines appearing briefly in my video feed but that also seems to be related to CEC changes or some sort of device negotiations taking place shortly after powering on (and sometimes when a video feed is changed). Overall, this balun is doing its job and working as it's supposed to - and I've had good experience with OREI products in general. Update (March 2022): I am dropping this device to 1 star. It now has just stopped sending any signals, even after unplugging and plugging back in all cables. Ridiculous. Oddly, it works well enough to send the power signal to my TV and receiver from my media player (AppleTV) but then the TV just says no signal. Incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I originally bought the UHD-IPC230-K model ($120) but ran into HDMI-CEC problems - come to find out from the seller that it doesn't support HDMI-CEC and I needed this model (UHD-EXB400R-K) instead ($160). I've had nothing but different HDMI issues with this unit that I didn't have with the original model or my prior unit that I was looking to upgrade. Even without the HDMI-CEC functionality, the IP230 worked just fine once all components were separately turned on. This new one that seller told me to purchase instead has both picture quality issues and control issues. With some components, my TV will just turn off as if it's not receiving a video feed. There are multiple, horizontal red lines that flicker across the screen at times (this seems to usually occur between video feed changes - such as going from a show to a commercial). I have constant problems with it sometimes causing my AV receiver to flip-flop between inputs, leading to no sound output until I go to the receiver and manually set the input to the correct source. Overall pretty disappointed with this product at the moment. I'd like to hope/assume that I have a defective unit as I've been otherwise happy with OREI products. I'm just disappointed feeling like I paid $280 for one unit that's sitting on a shelf collecting dust and this one that definitely doesn't perform well enough for the cost.

This is the 3rd HDMI over Ethernet extender brand I’ve tried, and it’s the first one that has worked as advertised. I’m really happy with it and I’m thinking of buying an additional one to support a 2nd system.

So i went down quite a journey on a journey whilst trying to do a job which to be fair was not very well foreward planned. Purchased a number of different solutions to get a CCTV NVR situated in a farmhouse to have a remote monitor viewable in a workshop. Line of site is approximatley 80 meters however when managing to run a new cable we discovered that the conduit was actually 150 meters. after purchasing other units including some from this same manufacturer i had low expectations for this working as once we discovered the true cable run length we knew we where well over the normal 100m limit. however upon pluggin in.....it.....just....worked. exactly 150 meter end to end cable run, using full copper shielded cat6 cable.

I have a 50m CAT 6 cable over which i need to run a 4K30 feed over HDMI. I previously ordered the OREI EX230C, an analog balun extender but it failed miserably for the same task. This is a HDBaseT3.0 extender, which allows it to pass 4:4:4 4K60Hz signals reliably. Highly recommended for it price for a reliable, fuss free HDMI extension.
