WOW! What a difference!!
Even if you clean one of these, sometimes they just don't quite work well. Most of the time they feel rough because they are porous, not just calcified- you'll never get it to be perfect. For the money, CHANGE IT!!

Ice Probe is loose but works
The price is right. I've had it in my Manitowa Ice Machine for about a month or two and it works fine. The reason for the three stars and not five is because the metal probe on the sensor that I recieved is loose. The manufacturer probe did not move and was not loose. It is extremely difficult to get the ice thickness correct when the probe is loose and moving (I'm constantly adjusting). I'm not sure if all the sensors from this vendor are like this or if I happen to get a faulty one.
