70 Reasons For Speaking In Tongues: Your Own Built In Spiritual Dynamo

I ordered this book a couple mouths after I got filled with Holy Spirit (speaking in tongues). It taught me a whole lot! This book is especially for a time such as this. The Lord has used me to get many filled with Holy Spirit and this a book I always recommended over the years. The devil is trying to stop people from learning this truth and from speaking in tongues. He tell them oh it only happen once or you have to wait to it come on you. Listen you have to open up your mouth and keep speaking in tongues. God can not open our mouths for us. You have to do it by faith. It’s not going to come out like it did first time. If you started speaking in tongues it’s still there even if you haven’t spoke in it in years. You just have to build up your faith and speak in tongues. Don’t allow the devil to rob you of this gift. This is one of your spiritual weapons and you need it.

I have been a Spirit-filled Christian for over thirty-five years so I am very aware of the power of Tongues...However I never knew there were 70 reasons for speaking in tongues. I was excited to receive this book. I know the author, Dr. Bill Hamon, is a true man of God, giving service to Him for years. I trust what he would say. As I began to read the book I immediately felt the presence of the Lord as Dr. Hamon brought forth much Scripture to back-up what he was saying. I, perhaps for the first time, fully understood that Tongues is definitely a wonderful Gift that God has given to His children to help them in this life. I knew the power of praying in Tongues, but I really didn't know all the benifits until I read this book. Our author gives you detailed information on just what Tongues are and where it shows them in the Bible. His information is presented in a simple way so it is easy to understand and begin to apply to your life. I have to say after reading this book, praying in Tongues took on a whole new meaning for me. This is a wonderful book and I recommend it for every Christian, no matter how long you may have been praying in tongues, I know you will find a dozen more reasons to continue after reading this book. It's excellent, definitely touched by the Lord to enhance all His children's prayers. Enjoy.

I happened to come across this book on the ElijahList. I come from a denomination that does not welcome speaking in tongues so when God started drawing me into the direction of a Spirit-filled, tongue speaking life, I was changed FOREVER. I love speaking in tongues! This book opened my eyes to a much greater extent to the significance of our spirit language. I love how he says that the greatest gift the Holy Spirit could have given the Body of Christ is this Spirit language. The more I think about this concept, the MORE I AGREE. From the moment we are born to the moment we leave this earth, we use our natural tongue. How awesome that now we have this SPIRITUAL tongue that is not only the activator to all of the Spirit's fruits and gifts, but is the great edifier, comforter, secret and mystery-revealer, etc etc etc. The possibilities are endless because God is endless! I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone who wishes to get activated into a much fuller Christian life and who wishes to dive deep into God's heart. Such AN AWESOME READ!! I'm now passing it on to my dad, and then probably my mom. Let's share the wealth:)

I really am learning so much more about the Powerful Gift of Holy Spirit that includes speaking/praying in my own heavenly spirit language called tongues. I know not every believer understands or uses this available Gift but they should, perhaps if they read this book that I have only read a small portion of because he gives a lot of Scriptures to back up his teaching, they would realize how Powerful and Wonderful the Gift of the Holy Spirit is with the evidence of speaking/praying in tongues. A good spiritual book to read for ass connecting with God

As a Christian who was raised in an evangelical home I was never taught anything about speaking in tongues, the power of Holy Spirit, or how to activate more Spiritual power in my life. I have attended many conferences and read many books over the years trying to learn about this prayer/spirit language because the churches I attended even as an adult seemed to avoid this topic. Dr. Hamon's book provides the Biblical basis for why tongues is the greatest gift we can receive from the Holy Spirit. I found it very practical with good illustrations to explain the tongues as a person's built in spiritual dynamo. It completely changed my life. What was missing from my life for the first 45 years was what Dr. Hamon so aptly teaches in this book. Now miracles are a regular part of my life. I have greater joy and peace in my life despite some very difficult personal circumstances. You won't be disappointed in this book.

This is probably one of the most important, if not the most important, books I have ever read on the subject of speaking in tongues. Bishop Hamon's scriptural insight into this very important foundational doctrine cannot be overstated. Additionally, the constant referral to the Bible-related scriptures is invaluable as you dig deeper and see the relationship of other scriptures to the subject. I cannot encourage you enough to make the investment in this book, not only for yourself, but also for others, especially new Christians. My wife and I have bought at least 20 copies to give out to friends and relatives. I have also made a commitment to pray in tongues a minimum of 30 minutes a day and can honestly testify that I have seen a remarkable change in my own prayer life. Bishop Hamon's explanation of the relationship between tongues and the development and growth of the fruit of the Spirit is a huge encouragement to those who are trying to build their character on their own. This book and Bishop Hamon have definitely encouraged me to "stir up the gift"!

Let's face it. The devil doesn't want God's people to be speaking in tongues. Why? Because the gift of the Holy Spirit or the gift of the spirit language is the greatest gift that the Holy Spirit had given to the individual believer in Christ. The gift of the spirit language is the activator to the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit and is the activator to the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit. Living in a developing country like PNG, I can say that many people still do not fully understand the benefits of speaking in tongues and Dr Hamon has done a great job here. A lot of what is taught here has been applied in my own life and I can honestly say that, they are workable and true. In fact, after reading this book, I have started to enter into a new level of prayer where I would pray in tongues and then the Spirit would take over and I would be groaning in the Spirit and the Spirit would be literally praying through me with words that cannot be uttered. After finishing the book, I have made a decision to be part of the 1 million christians who pray in tongues for 30 mins per day for the next 30 days. According to Dr Hamon, we will achieve a lot in advancing the kingdom of God globally as believers if we just pray in tongues for 30 mins per day for 30 days. And I'm doing this not because that's what Dr Hamon said, but because I WANT TO. Great book overall!

Excellent books. Really great information on the importance and benefits of speaking in tongues.

This teaching has been completely missing from my church walk. I had no idea..well, no teaching, on why speaking in tongues was such a gift and I always just thought it was something you'd do if you couldn't think of anything else to pray for. If you are dissatisfied with your Christian walk and are bugged by the thought that 'there must be more to Christianity than this' then this is just one of the books that you need to have in your library!

This boon has truly been eye opening and a blessing in every way. I feel I have more understanding on why I ought to pray in tongues more. What a wonderful gift of the Holy Spirit!
