what year is this edition from?

Same with mine. Must be the '04-'06 model that came stock with a 4 book compendium, before going back to the two bibliophile model, to save on gastronomical dilemmas... :>)

Where can I get another one? I have it but the board broke and have to tape it in the back to get it to stay together.

There should be a 800 number to call to get extra parts. Check the box papers

I heard that the lockable Super Scrabble tiles were smaller. True?

Not enough to notice. and it's only lockable if you don't tilt the board more than 33°. It definitely keeps them from moving around, but you may be looking for the "locking" or "magnetic" version, where you can fold the board up during a game and continue later. But the pieces are clearly marked (better than my old wooden tiles, but being 40+ years old they are in that "fade away" period of life. ~empathy~) and solidly built, so any problems with handling or reading will be comparable to your old tiles.

Who has giant deluxe edition tiles for sale

Call the 800 number. It should be in the box papers or google for the telephone. Umber
