Who knew their was another screwdriver head? My 5 year old did! He likes being able to repair his trains on his own.

A good overall repair kit for the Thomas trains. Needed the loop couplers and tender couplers, then took some hooks and made front couplers on some engines! Thought I was getting the cat's meow with the triangle screwdriver, but I learned that it only fits the later engines; earlier ones take a smaller triangle screwdriver (which I had already made, so now I have both!)

It was very useful and I got to use it alot.

This was a great purchase for our 4 year old's Christmas stocking. He has "real tools" now, and if we ever need to make a repair to one of our Trackmaster trains, we're absolutely ready! Originally we wanted to be able to replicate a "strongest engine" contest ala YouTube, but we haven't been able to do that yet :)

I have to admit that I was extremely excited when I saw this kit. My son has at least a hundred Thomas the train cars and I was eager to be able to repair some of the broken ones. I was disappointed to discover that the screwdriver was still slightly too big for a majority of the trains. Even when I tried to force the screwdriver into the screw heads, I found it impossible to do. I really wish this would have worked for us, but at the end of the day, it was a disappointing failure.
