Will flat (positive side) 18650s work with this or do they have to have the nipples?

Hello friend, There might be poor contact and abnormally working if you use battery (flat positive pole) to work with, they need to have the ‘凸’ head to ensure good contact.

Can the plastic frame be removed?

Dear friend, That clear plastic frame is a filming prop to hold the headlamp (not included in the delivery package), sorry for the misunderstanding.

How much does it weigh?

The weight parameters of the C01 headlight are as follows: Package Weight: 322.7g/11.4oz Net weight (including battery and headlight strap): 256g/9oz
