FZONE Aquarium Glass Mini Skimmer Lily Inflow and Outflow Sets for Mini Nano Tanks Filter Pipes(for 1/2inch Tubing)

I own two sets of these and they are very nice and everything functions as it should. Glass is plenty thick although you always have to be a little carefull with glass. I lightly heat my tubing when taking it on and off and it will slide off way easier. The skimmer works as it should but personally I take off the skimmer piece and use a piece of filter foam so I still get flow near the top and nothing can get sucked in. Definitely not worth taking off a star since everybody has different needs, that's just what works for my setup since I run my water a little low because of my hardscape.

Super simple, pretty, doesn’t look cheap. These are not the nicest Lily pipes ever but for the price they are great, they aren’t flimsy and have proven durable after I dropped the pipe on accident. Pretty in my tank

Product works as advertised, no complaints, except that this product was obviously not manufactured or packaged by FZONE. The box photos and labels do not match the contents, and there is no brand or manufacturing information. No instructions. This is a cheap, generic product; not sure why it's advertised or sold by FZONE. In the past FZONE products have been well packaged, quality all around, and obviously thought through with care for aquarists. Not this. This is just slapped into a box with random pictures on it. Weird.

Works great on my rimless aquarium, really helping to eliminate surface scum. When I encountered a problem with the surface skimmer breaking on accident, the customer service was willing to replace the part.

I was a bit hesitant based on the other reviews but went for it anyway. My experience has been nothing but positive. This is not a "plug and play" set as you might hope. It takes a little tweaking to get the right suction balance. For me I had to adjust the output of my canister filter so it didn't try to move too much water (the pump is way oversized for my tank) and then tweak the intake balance between the skimmer and screen using the "dial" thing on the bottom of the glass intake piece. On mine the little dial is snug and definitely won't fall out on its own - seems they have the o-ring size figured out. If I left my filter pump on full blast or balanced it too much toward suction from the skimmer, it created so much suction that it pulled air in and caused the gurgling sound another reviewer mentioned. You can see in my pic that I have a nice balance of suction pulling water from the skimmer as evidenced by the water line with the thin layer of scum on it and that it's got a few little sprigs of plants sucked onto it. The bottom also has some little stems stuck on, so it's definitely pulling from both. I keep shrimp in my tank and on two occasions a little guy has been caught in the space between the skimmer extension tube and the main glass it slides into. I have enough moss that baby shrimp don't really get close to the intake so I don't think I've lost any. Looks-wise it's really nice. The lily pipe is basically invisible in the back of my tank. It creates a gentle surface turbulence to help oxygenate, but doesn't break surface tension and release my CO2. As for the sinking skimmer, there is an inverted "tray" on the bottom of the plastic skimmer piece. When you lower the skimmer into the intake, you need to be careful to leave air in that try so it has buoyancy - otherwise it will get sucked right down.

Let me start by saying, the size of these lily pipes are perfect for your smaller aquariums. They are actually very small in size. The photographed tank, is a 14g Aqueon rimless cube. The skimmer seems like it would work fantastically. See, I say 'seems', and 'would', because I didn't actually get to use them. You can tell in my photo that I have black out film on my back wall. That black out film has the slightest texture on the exposed side. Why that is important--is because these pipes attach by suction cups. Without a smooth surface, there's no way for me to create the vacuum needed to hold them in place. And I've already cut the plastic finishing panel for the intake and exit that were supplied with my canister. So, rearranging MY hoses--to the side--is less than ideal, and not visually pleasing with this particular tank's location. Now, here's why I went ahead with 5-stars: that's solely my burden to deal with. This is an established tank I am trying to adapt them to. In a fresh tank build, I'd have no issue integrating, or using them. The included suction cups are more than adequate to do the job of hanging the pipes. I hung the pipes on the front glass just to insure I could say so, before I wrote this review. I have no doubt that there are many of you reading this, that would have no problems with this kit. Even though my current setup will not allow their use, I am not returning them. That's how much I like them. They will definitely be used in a future aquarium.

Ich hatte mir erst die große Lily pipe gekauft und schnell gemerkt das sie doch zu groß ist😅, dann doch die kleine gekauft und ich muss sagen alles lauft sehr gut. Im kleinen Becken, 60L, lässt sich damit die Strömung sehr gut verteilen und auch der Skimmer erledigt seine Dienste sehr gut. Würde ich für kleine Becken wieder kaufen und würde sie auch empfehlen.

Temevo che, nonostante le foto che pubblicizzano il prodotto, questo fosse troppo grande per una vasca "nano". Invece le misure sono perfette! Sto allestendo una vasca 30x30x30 (27 lt) e come si può vedere dalla foto le misure sono assolutamente adeguate. Il vetro è di buona qualità e trasparenza nonostante il prezzo contenuto se paragonato a quello delle marche di riferimento per questo tipo di hobbistica. Assolutamente da consigliare a che sta allestendo un Nano acquario con filtro esterno. Unico neo le ventose che sono decisamente grandi rispetto alla grandezza delle pipes.

This is by far the smallest lilypipe set I have ever seen and that makes me really happy. Why? It is perfect for shallower tanks, which my new UNS 45U is. I had a normal set , which I intended to use, but quickly found out the intake was too long. This Fzone nano set solves that problem. The glass is off good quality and it does feel as sturdy as a normal size set. I do intend to buy another set for another nano tank upstairs.
