Trying to install hose for my 16 1.4. The Oring at the quick disconnect side is very tough to get in. seems it’s stopping at the oring.Is this normal?

Same with mine. Lucky I replaced the water/coolant part under that. I had to unclip old part of piece and put on new part so hose would fit. Worst design ever
