I bought InvestiGators: A Laugh-Out-Loud Comic Book Adventure! by John Patrick Green for my child and it’s been a huge hit. The story is really engaging but easy to follow, which makes it ideal for younger readers who are just getting into chapter books. The humour is constant throughout and actually made my child laugh out loud several times, which is always a good sign. The comic-style format works really well, with bright, expressive illustrations that help bring the characters and storyline to life. It also makes it less intimidating for reluctant readers compared to traditional text-heavy books. First of all, this comic is a series so the first comic book is continued on with number 2 and so on . Now for the review ! This comic is kid friendly , so your kids could enjoy it or even yourself ! The jokes in here are alright but some can be funny . The art is not crazy but a cartoon style , thats a thing to consider ! The bad thing about this series is ( And don’t hate me for this ) it’s expensive 😅I mean like don’t get me wrong , Each book is £7.99 bug you will find discounted prices , but that’s just to much for me ! But if you don’t care about the prices … Buy the first book and give it a try ! Highly recommend !

Bought as gift for my son, the book has vibrant colours, is thick pages and nice to hold, it is in a comic style text that he will enjoy, a good book for reluctant readers and to read independently.

My daughter absolutely loves this series!! If you're looking for a series for your child to get into.. choose this!! Start in issue order would be my advice though.

The book arrived torn and damaged. I ordered another book which arrived fine. This one was probably packed already torn. I am really disappointed as my daughter was looking forward to reading this one.
