Could you please tell me what model of Cuisinart soft serve/yogurt machine you use to make this in? Stumbled upon this, would love to make it at home.

I use the Cuisinart 1.5 Qt Ice Cream/Yogurt Maker, Model Number IC-21 ...works flawlessly!  Product came out EXACTLY the same as what we had in Maui.  I use I cup of Mix, 1.5 Cups COLD water and 1.5 cups COLD, whole milk. Like I said... it comes out perfect!!!

The bag makes two gallons. It comes with instructions to make smaller batches. My machine makes 1.5 quarts.

The amount of water and Dole Whips mix depends on the size of the ice cream/yogurt freezer youare using. The measurements for various sizes come with the mix. Using the entire bag of mix makes two gallons.

Does anyone have a recipe for smaller batches? Many have commented the mixes come w/instructions. Mine did not & I purchased 4 different bags/flavors.

I Have a 2 quart kitchen aid ice cream attachment. I have tried almost every flavor of this mix and this recipe works great for all.  I use 1 &1/3 cup of mix and 3 cups of liquid.  The mix tells you to just use water. I have not done that. I use 2 cups of water and 1 cup of milk.  I have used regular milk, 1% milk, 1/2 & 1/2, coconut milk. I even made the pineapple with 2cups water, 1/2 cup pineapple juice & 1/2 cup of regular milk. They all turned out great. Each was soft, but very good, so I did put in the freezer for a while. Stores well.  One more hint, if you have a 1&1/2 quart mixer try 1 cup of mix with 2 & 1/4 cup of liquid. (That would be 1 &1/2 cup water and 3/4 cup of milk) I may try cream later, but that will really increase the cost. Plus we always have water and some kind of milk around.
