After reading all the amazing reviews for the argan mask i thought my hair would be smooth and silky. But it turned out to be after few uses as dry as ever. I have tried many hair masks but none had this bad result on my hair like this one

I seem to be one of the few reviewers who did NOT get this product for free or at a discount. I'm a "regular" customer who bought this hair mask off Amazon myself for full price. About my hair: It is super straight, just past my shoulders in length, and I have bangs. I have thin hair, but a lot of it, if that makes sense. Meaning, it isn't thick like people with curly hair, but it isn't incredibly stringy and lifeless, either. Just the regular low volume due to having straight hair. Also, I do not suffer from hair loss. But I do suffer from breakage due to blow drying. From age 14-24 I dyed my hair every six weeks at the salon. Then I decided to go back to my natural hair colour, so I dyed my fake bleached blonde to dark brown and then let my natural hair grow out, which took just over a year. I am now 33 yeas old, so I have had my natural hair colour for about eight years. I have been using the typical store bought shampoo and conditioner my entire life. Pantene, Aveeno, L'Oreal, etc. If I don't shower every day, the top of my hair gets weighed down and greasy. The ends, though, are drier from blow drying after almost every shower. So you can imagine, it is hard to find a shampoo and conditioner to help me since most common store bought shampoo and conditioners are targeted for either dry/damaged OR oily/flat/thin hair. One month ago, I decided to try a more natural option. After reading hundreds of reviews of various products on Amazon, I decided to buy this hair mask, along with the Art Naturals Organic Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner set. It was a gamble because I noticed a lot of the reviewers were given these products for free or at a discount, so I wasn't sure if I could really trust their reviews. They say they're giving honest feedback, but really, when every review is five stars and glowing, it is easy to be skeptical. Also, I'm assuming those reviewers don't use the products long term before giving their feedback, so that also makes it hard to tell if it's a legit good review or not. So I took the plunge and thought, Well, if I want to find out if it will work for me, the only thing I can do is buy it myself. And I'm so glad I did! I am reviewing this hair mask after using the accompanying Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner from Art Naturals for one month. The shampoo and conditioner do an amazing job on my hair (richness, shininess, smoothness, and an all over healthy look I've never experienced before with any other shampoo or conditioner), but I wanted to see what additional benefits the hair mask could provide. I was worried that since my natural hair can get oily fast that this hair mask would only weigh it down more and make it flat and greasy faster. Surprisingly, despite all the oils in the ingredients, that is not the case. The shampoo and conditioner give my hair a healthy look and feel, but using this hair mask once a week made my hair even richer and shinier and smoother and healthier. In my opinion, it isn't for every day use because it might be too moisturizing. The shampoo and conditioner, however, I use ever time I shower, which is usually once a day. So basically, the combination of all three is the perfect balance for me. I cannot emphasize enough how happy I am with this hair mask in conjunction with the shampoo and conditioner set. If you're using the hair mask with another shampoo and conditioner, maybe it won't have the same effect - I can't be sure since I only have the experience using it after shampoo and conditioner from the same line of products/company. But in terms of my experience, I recommend this hair mask for oily hair, and even for people who lack volume or have dry/split ends due to repeated blow drying. I'm not sure how a shampoo and conditioner and hair mask can be good for both greasy hair AND for dry hair, but these ones truly are! UPDATE: Four people at work commented on my hair the day after I used this hair mask for the first time. They asked me what I'd done differently because my hair looked so silky and rich! I had noticed a significant improvement in the silkiness of my hair after using it, but it was cool to get external validation as well!

I’ve been using this product for over a year or so now, and I will never be without it again, which is quite a statement from me, considering the graveyard of discarded hair products that I used once or twice that are piled on my ‘hair stuff’ shelf. Before I found this hair mask, my hair was so processed and dry, I was at my wits end; I really didn’t know what to do. After years of blow drying and coloring, my tresses had lost their sheen and a great deal of their volume, not to mention the fact that it was dry and brittle and loaded with split ends. I kept trying product after product with absolutely no success, and was at the point that I was honestly thinking that I was going to have to cut my hair way down and let it grow back in. Luckily, I stumbled upon ArtNaturals Argan Oil Hair Mask… I was trying to find something that had decent reviews, had Argan Oil in it, smelled fresh and light, and DIDN’T smell like the dreaded coconut oil! And it’s soooo hard to tell, honestly, when you see some so-so reviews and some good ones… what the truth really is…but, I can only tell you that I LOVE this product…Hands down. It smells great…& it works beautifully. It’s probably not the cheapest hair mask you can buy, but do you really want the cheapest product you can buy or do you want one that will WORK? AND, it is by NO MEANS expensive when you see what it does for you and what it saves you in terms of heartache and tears over worrying about your hair!!! It is WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! LADIES and GENTLEMEN… you are WORTH THIS!!! I’ve tried all sorts of hair products to try and boost the volume back into my hair that it had seemed to lose in recent years, and, until now nothing had seemed to work... And now, my hair feels moisturized, soft and silky; and it bends again! It’s no longer brittle and breaking; it is clean, smooth and shiny… …And now, forever transformed from dull, flat, lifeless locks to a gorgeous, full, flowing mane that turns heads wherever I go... In fact, I was at a doctor’s appointment earlier this morning, and as I was leaving, two women who were in the office stopped me to tell me that they had noticed me on several occasions previously, and one of them wrote a Facebook post about me a couple of weeks ago…all because of my hair! So, you know what? Just for THAT, (and, of course, for everything else that I love about it also!) I will never stop buying this, EVER! So, go ahead. Get some yourself, and get gorgeous hair. Enjoy!

I am really pleased with the results so far. The damaged tips on my hair and the drynesss has improved!

This hair mask is very good and it helps my hair to be soft and shiny, but some things I do not like is that a scent are so strong it's like smelling fart perfume except its smells really good. The price is too expensive for me to pay and this is going to be a last time to buy this product but dont get me wrong that this hair mask does an amazing job of what its did for my hair.
