What's not to like apart from price? I bought this in the UK from amazon UK. If I'd bought it from amazon USA as I have done with some of my watches it would have been £10-£15 cheaper. It really sucks that if I use tonnes more carbon utilizing robots, humans and several land vehicles and aircraft and can also wait, I can have it for fewer pounds sterling! I just didn't want to wait. The watch is an amazing piece of retro techno for the money. Too many features to mention here. However the capability of this watch far exceeds most watches in existence and for a bargain price. It's built to be budget but it has an amazing module within. Highly customizable. There's a whole sub culture out in the world modifying these things. That's the reason I bought this one and waiting for delivery on another. Left as it is, it's a very capable time piece, usable in any situation. You can even swim whilst wearing it. I like conventional watches and have a few this is my first blast from the past from a time when all us cool & groovy kids were wearing digital watches. Only the nerds had clockwork watches. So From this ultra cool & groovy grandad who's "down wit da kids", go and buy it and be as cool as me!

Brilliant watch. So functional, strap was easy to replace as I prefer fabric straps. Not too heavy but you know you’ve got it on which is nice. Great value for money, being able to easily set an alarm or change timezones is great. It looks the part too!

A solid and reliable digital watch that does exactly what you expect from Casio. It’s lightweight, comfortable to wear, and the display is clear. The world time feature and extra display elements are interesting, but personally I think the 'date and day' could have been made a bit larger, as that’s something many people check more often. It would be more useful than the smaller world map display. Still, it’s a practical, durable watch and good value for everyday use.

I bought this watch after reading so much about it online. It lives up to the hype. It is packed with features, the screen is clear and readable and best for me is that there are many mods and improvements available online to make this watch your own. It is cheap enough that you can replace it if gets broken, if it doesn't get broken then the battery supposedly lasts for 10 years! There is no reason to by an expensive luxury watch once you realise how great Casios are.

I've wanted to buy this watch for ages to add to my collection of iconic Casio watches and finally I've gone ahead and bought it. This watch looks a lot more expensive than the price it sells for. Its a brilliant watch for those who travel a lot or those who need to keep track to time in different countries. I love being able to scroll through 4 time zones with the click of a button. Also where most Casio watches have only one light, this one has two (one of either side) so the screen is really well lit (as you can see from the pics attached). Another cool feature of this watch is how easy it is to switch between time zones. So when you get to another country all you need to do is go to the World Time screen, select the time zone for the country you are in and then press the top two buttons on the watch. This instantly swaps the home time to the country you selected. Now your alarms will go off at the correct time in the new location and you can still see your Home time with the click of a button. Other cool features are the analogue time which is always available to view no matter what screen you are in. This watch also has 100m water resistance so you can easily go swimming with it (but I would'nt go any deeper) and has a 10yr battery. I have another Casio watch which has a 10yr battery and that is still running after 15yrs on the original battery! The watch is also really light and you'll barely feel it on your wrist. Negatives? A few (nothing is perfect!) I wish there was an option to show the date and month in the British (dd/MM) format rather than the American (MM/dd) format, but this is only a niggle as you soon get used to it. Also viewing angles aren't great especially if you are trying to catch a glimpse of the time in a boring meeting without making it too obvious to others ;). For those looking at the images and wondering how it would look on your wrist, that's the watch on my 7.5inch wrist. Hope this helps!

Cheap and reliable

Legendarisch horloge en zit perfect om mijn 18 cm pols. Eenvoudig in te stellen als je andere Casio's gewend bent. Het bandje is lekker soepel en de "keeper" houdt het einde van het bandje prima op z'n plek.

Just got my Casio AE-1200WH-1CVEF from Amazon today for 200 SAR and I’m really impressed. The silver bezel with the black strap gives it a clean and classic look. It feels lightweight and very comfortable for daily use. The features are amazing for the price — world time, stopwatch, countdown timer, and 5 alarms. The 10-year battery life is another big plus. Overall, it feels durable and stylish at the same time. Definitely a great value-for-money watch.
