Plus and minus
We really luv the Hickies. The boys tend to quickly shove their feet into their shoes, so Hickies works there. But the minus is they are putting off learning how to tie their shoes. Hickies are cool and convenient.

They All Broke
We put these on my 11 year old son's shoes. They've all broken off. I have 2 sets on 2 sets of shoes. Not one has broken. Granted, mine are older. Maybe they changed the make up, I don't know. I like them for me but for kids, I don't recommend.

Broke.
We have had 3 laces break within 2 months.

Accounting for school holidays these have seen approximately 2 weeks of use and 2 have failed so far. Looks like some nicks or burrs in the manufacturing process. No spares are provided & I'm not prepared to roll the dice on potentially sub-par quality control again. Not recommended. If they had included a couple of spares this would be an entirely different review.

They snap after 6 months

These seemed like a great idea but after a couple of months they've all just snapped!! Every one of them.

Two days. Two days is all this lasted before we had them starting to break. Not worth the money. I avoided the cheaper ones from Kmart because I thought these would last 😂 Never again
