Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream 20 oz

I had seen several reviews saying that this lotion is fake or an off brand lotion with the same name, but I am here to say no that is not true. In my photo, the container on the left is Cetaphil that I bought at Walmart about 4 years ago (for the same price as this container I might add). The container on the right is Cetaphil I bought from Amazon. When you buy Cetaphil the only thing stopping a person from taking a scoop out of the jar is a clear sticker with CETAPHIL printed on it. If you look on the container on the left, the one I bought at Walmart, you will see the clear sticker. The container from Amazon has that as well. The reason I bring this up is because some reviews thought the odd sticker was evidence it was a fake. It's not. They just have strange security measures. Other reviews have said that because the stickers on the jar itself were crooked or lopsided that there is no way quality assurance would have let these containers pass out the door.... well they did. Now for the quality of the product. I LOVE THIS STUFF. During the winter I have terribly dry and cracked hands and skin. So dry that my hands bleed sometimes. This stuff works wonders! I use it for my face and body and it leaves my skin super soft and moisturized. I recommend this to everyone and anyone who have dry skin. It is wonderful!

My wife uses this product religiously for her hands, arms, legs, knees, and elbows. I kid her that she is a "basket case" and she takes it in stride. Because of her allergies and sensitivity to certain items, she found that this is perfect for her dry skin. She even applies it BEFORE she puts on a back aid. If she didn't, the band aid would cause her to break out in hives. When she applies it to her feet, heels, and ankles, her socks don't pull against her skin as though it where a cactus catching the material. Because she is also sensitive to odors ( I can't wear after shave around her), she even tolerates the subtle scent of this product. Thank you, Manufacturer!

I dont often write reviews, as it isn't often I am impressed by a purchase or a product. However, Cetaphil has won my 5 star rating approval. I bought this lotion, as I have Sjogren's and my skin gets really dry, especially my hands, which crack and bleed; very painful. A week and a half ago, I went to the lake, and got a bit of a sunburn (not too bad) on my arms and I decided to look up Cetaphil for sunburns and the reviews recommended another Cetaphil lotion (not this particular one), so I thought I'd try it anyway, and to my surprise it did a great job. But it wasn't until today that Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream ultimately impressed me. As you can see, in the photos, I got a pretty red sunburn (yesterday) and I, again, put Cetaphil on my back, shoulders and chest, and today (2nd photo) there was a substantial difference. After applying it every hour until bedtime. No more pain, sunburn has mellowed out, and my skin is cool to the touch. I highly recommend this product! It has been a tremendous lifesaver!

This is a product I have used for years which gives excellent moisturising for eczema skin. It was no different for this particular purchase. So I am satisfied with the product. However, my dissatisfaction is with the packaging. When I received the item the security seal was broken which made me a little hesitant to use. But I went ahead and took the risk to use cause the content didn't look like it was tampered with plus I am not in the USA and couldn't be bothered with the hassle and cost of return. My writing is for a note to this and other sellers to exercise more care and check items before dispatch. Especially in these days of Pandemic customers do pay keen attention to the packaging of products. Yes packaging is an issue.

I really like this product. I live in NH, winters are cold and the heat has a drying affect on everything, even with a humidifier. I use it after showering, just a light application on arms legs and torso. My skin feels more moisturized and it has a sealing property that I feel keeps the moisture in . Non scented as well so doesn't fight with any fragrances you might choose to wear.

I love Cetaphil. It makes your skin feel like silk, however, I don't think this last order I received was Cetaphil. I was alarmed when I opened the package and the jar of Cetaphil was not sealed like it normally is. All of my past orders of Cetaphil have been sealed with a clear wrap. It does not feel like Cetaphil either. Cetaphil soaks right into your skin and leaves no sticky or greasy feel. This jar of lotion does not feel the same. I had a little bit of my older Cetaphil left and I compared the feel and texture of the lotion and it was not the same. It looks like the jar had been opened or reused and filled with a different lotion. Cetaphil is light and has no smell, just a clean feeling. I could be all wrong but this jar is not the same.
