About the worst pain of my life totally repaired
I believe that this Squigle Tooth Builder Toothpaste and Bone Solid by Country Life were the two most helpful of the natural remedies that actually did repair a tooth that the dentist said (months ago) might need a root canal AND crown. It tastes fantastic too, and my teeth always feel so clean. I will always use this toothpaste from now on because I really want to keep my teeth healthy so this never happens again. WHAT HAPPENED I had a broken (rear upper) tooth for a while and it never bothered me until I had ice cubes in my mouth one hot day. Within a week I needed a crown for it. But the temporary crown they put on did not insulate the upper tooth well enough and I had severe pain while waiting and waiting several weeks for the permanent crown to arrive. Those ice cubes also touched a lower tooth that same day. And when the dentist examined it later with magnifying glasses he said it was cracked in 3 places. Here is what I did for the double toothache... (All of the following are from good, natural supplement companies made from real food sources.) In the first place, you must know that through all this, no Topicals gave me pain relief for more than 5 minutes. NOT Clove Oil, NOT Orajel Severe, nothing. So I looked around for different things that might help as I was literally taking so many Ibuprofens and Tylenols that I had to keep a record of every pill I took so I wouldn't damage an organ. I randomly took different natural pain relievers (listed below) between the Ibuprofens so I wouldn't have to take another so soon. And although I am very grateful for the pain relief (because the Ibuprofen did work better than anything else, so I took it the most often) I did experience some hair loss, memory loss, fatigue, severe dependency migraines, and an abscess on my upper arm as a result of so many Ibuprofens over the several weeks that I took them. (After this was all over, I found all of those Ibuprofen side effects listed on a site.) DIETARY CHANGES THAT HELPED I only changed my diet a little bit according to the websites that say to eat less grains, and more meat and vegetables, and butter, etc. So I started eating less bread, more fish, more chicken breast, more butter (supposed to be organic, I think though)... SUPPLEMENTS THAT HELPED I believe the first three items below actually repaired the lower tooth. The last time there was any pain in it was the middle of September 2014. Update: It is now January 2015. 1. Squigle Tooth Builder Sensitive Toothpaste: I brush my teeth (very carefully now, never want to slip and poke a tooth) but vigorously and for a long time, focusing on that lower tooth and any other tooth that feels the slightest bit sensitive while brushing my teeth. I can just imagine the nourishing tooth rebuilding ingredients working their way into my teeth. 2. Bone Solid by Country Life: One of the few calcium supplements that is assimilated properly by the body (instead of contributing to calcium deposits in the shoulders, for example, like the cheap calcium carbonate can) and the other minerals and vitamins in the capsules help with proper assimilation of all the minerals that the teeth need. 3. Nature's Way Vitamin D3 - One 5,000 I.U. capsule a day: Helps with Calcium assimilation, and many websites say is about the most important supplement for the teeth. 4. Bernard Jensen's Gelatin Capsules: Also helps with tooth remineralization and rebuilding. 5. Vitamin Shoppe: BioCell Collagen II w Hyaluronic acid Capsules: Same thing. 6. Acupuncture: I had never had Acupuncture in my life, but I was desperate so I tried it twice, and after the second appointment (at a different office in a different city while out of town) the Acupuncture did reduce the amount of pain pills I needed. Plus, I have only had one migraine since (which was caused by MSG). JANUARY 2015 UPDATE: Only two or three headaches since last September. 7. Chinese Herbs for pain: I do not know any place to get these besides an Acupuncturist, or maybe a Chinese Herbal Store. I got mine at my Acupuncturist Office. 8. Solaray Butterbur Extract: Really helps with headaches and other pains. 9. Vitamin Shoppe Quercitin w Bromelain: Totally healed a tendonitis episode I had for a week once after doing reverse forearm curls too heavy, so I thought, why not try it for this too? No harmful side effects, and I will not leave a stone unturned when using nutritional remedies for something as serious as this was. 10. Vitamin Shoppe Turmeric w Curcumin: Good for inflammation. 11. Rinsing mouth vigorously with cayenne pepper, sea salt, and clove oil (or separately) in water. I found that warm water made it worse, so I started using a temperature between cool and luke warm and found that was perfect. When rinsing or gargling with cayenne pepper in water, always inhale with the glass not near your face before starting. Don't need to stir with a spoon, just swirl a dash or two of Cayenne in a glass half full of water or less. Black pepper and chili powder are irritating for the system, but Cayenne Pepper is the perfect rinse and gargle, plus drinking it is healthy too. It's naturally antibacterial, helps the circulation, and has no sweeteners of any kind. Also, IF I WAITED TOO LONG TO TAKE A PAIN PILL, I FOUND THAT THE CAYENNE PEPPER RINSE PROVIDED THE FASTEST PAIN RELIEF. I'm still taking the tooth builders, but thankfully the pain has been gone since the middle of September. I also take 1500 mg of sustained release Vitamin C morning and night (good for gums), plus Vitamin Code Multi Vitamins, Osteo Bi-Flex (nothing has ever helped my back more), and a few things that restored my hair last year, and restored it again after the ibuprofen caused hair loss. NOTE I was going to try the fermented cod liver oil with special butter oil that you read so much about on line, but it never arrived. I'm glad it didn't. Now I know that the above items did the job on their own. IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL INFO FOR YOU Whatever brand of supplements you get, always remember that any company that makes anything with dL-alpha Tocpheryl Vitamin E could be making all their vitamins synthetically, which the body does not utilize. Supplements sold by Health Food Stores are usually made from actual food sources, and supplements sold in Pharmacies, Drug Stores, or questionable websites could be made synthetically. The Vitamin Shoppe (stores and site) is my favorite because of their selection, local stores, and website, low prices, and rewards program. Also remember: Pharmaceuticals have a lot to lose if people start using products made from food sources that are IN-expensive have NO Harmful Side Effects and Really Work Very Well!! So, reps from those companies often post reviews with a lot of untrue information. When you see a radically negative review on a Natural Remedy made by a Good company, always check that reviewers' other reviews to see if they write reviews regularly. I have been studying natural remedies since I was about 19 in 1979, and I can tell you with absolute certainty that nearly any health condition can be totally improved with a simple change of diet and/or natural supplements and natural remedies. And these natural remedies have absolutely no harmful side effects 99% of the time. I have had several successes myself, seen dramatic improvements in others close to me, and have heard many reliable stories over the past few decades. WHY DON'T MOST DOCTOR'S TELL PEOPLE THIS? In up to 8 years of medical school, doctors get only 25 hours of nutritional education. This is still true today, even though nutrition is vitally important to preventing some serious health issues, and alleviating others. For example the ONLY cure for a Candida yeast infection (which can happen to masculine males too) is entirely diet and natural remedies. Same for adult onset diabetes. In addition to their lack of education in these matters, doctors are sometimes bombarded by pharmaceutical representatives to sell their pills (no matter how many negative side effects they may have). They even offer doctors big vacations if they meet a certain quota. And then nutritional remedies, which absolutely do work (with no harmful side effects) are put down by the media, while pharmaceutical pills get free advertising. This is getting better, but still occurs. Do a Google search for... doctors get 25 hours of nutritional education and doctors get vacations for selling pills I found the following on a site somewhere once... ADVERSE REACTIONS TO SUPPLEMENTS, VACCINES, & PRESCRIPTION DRUGS IN 2008 SUPPLEMENTS 1,080 adverse events, of which 672 were considered serious... (What the FDA considers an adverse event can be "anything from a concern that a supplement isn't working to a serious illness following consumption.) VACCINES 26,517 adverse events, of which 3,923 were considered serious. PRESCRIPTION DRUGS AND "THERAPEUTIC BIOLOGICS" 526,527 adverse events, of which 275,421 "had serious outcomes." The prescription drugs figures may or may not include vaccines adverse reactions, since vaccines are technically therapeutic biologics. A tooth and mouth saver for me.
This is my favorite toothpaste. It has definitely helped me with my sensitive teeth and my chapped lips. I can't tolerate mint or cinnamon and the children's flavors are disgusting so this being flavor free is just what I needed. It makes my teeth feel smooth and clean. There is not grittiness at all. There isn't any SLS in it so it doesn't foam up very much but that doesn't matter to me. I have tried many different toothpastes trying not to irritate my dry mouth and burning tongue and I have finally found the one that works for me. I will be buying this toothpaste from now on. Thanks Squigle Tooth Builder for making this and thanks Amazon for carrying it.

Like many others said, "Just buy it already!"
I bought it because I dread brushing my teeth with minty toothpaste that burns and leaves a minty flavor in my mouth. The insides of my mouth cheeks, tongue and lips are always sore and too tingly after brushing. I moved onto the kid flavors (not mint, like strawberry and bubblegum) and still dreaded brushing my teeth. Thinking about it made me gag. I also don't find it pleasurable to brush with baking soda. I only brush my teeth once a day because of this (pssst don't tell my kids, but I'd sometimes skip a day and use chewing gum). And another reason for buying it is because I have a child on the autism spectrum who fights us with brushing everyday. It's exhausting. When he could verbally tell us what the problem was, it was the taste. We'd tried all the kid flavors, baking soda and then the super mild Sensodyne. It has continued to be a struggle. We got this paste (from "Express Health" fulfilled by Amazon) in the mail today around noon. I couldn't wait to try it. Holy moly! There was no offensive or strong taste (if any...very, very slightly sweet to me), it foamed as other toothpastes, I ended up brushing for the full two minutes and then rinsed my mouth. There was absolutely no pain, no burning and no irritation on my lips. I then called my ASD kiddo to the bathroom to have him brush his teeth. After several minutes of cajoling him he finally did it. He was so scared to try something new. And I could see in his face that he was pleasantly surprised. He had braced himself for something horrible and once he started brushing, I saw his shoulders, arms and hands relax. And then I asked him how was it....he gave me a thumb up (his very good signal) (thumb horizontal means okay, thumb down means not okay at all). We will need several more sessions to see how he copes, though as he also has sensory issues (the brush itself). But for certain we can rule out the obnoxious tastes of other pastes. So that is a huge leap forward for us. Huge! I know this is corny, but I was so pleased with how it turned out to be such a non-event for myself to brush...how easy it was...how I know I will not dread brushing anymore...I smiled...corny, but true. I am blessed with strong enamel and have never had a cavity, but it is so nice to know that I'm doing the right thing by brushing my teeth at least twice a day. YAY! Oh, and my lips...don't know yet, but I'm hoping this will also allow my chronically chapped lips to heal.

WORKS IN A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME
I was diagnosed 2 years ago with needing a root canal and at the time, the dentist cut a large portion of my tooth away and set a temporary filling in its place. Being laid off 2 months after the diagnosis and only recently finding a job that pays a little less than 2/3rds of what I used to make, I still cannot afford the procedure plus cap and crown. I have had the temporary filling replaced twice now. It is wearing away again but I don't want to pay to have it done a third and fourth time, besides the dentist probably would refuse since each time I returned, I was chastised for not having the root canal done yet. I used Dr. Collins Restore for over 4 months, Sensodyne Pronamel for 1 whole tube and Sensodyne Repair & Protect for about 1 month but still had intense pain all the time. I had to use pain killers around the clock and constantly brush (which may have been making things worse). All I could think about was the pain all day, everday and sleeping through the night was impossible. I don't like Orajel and similar because they always numb more than the site of the pain. I have used Squiggle for only 4 days, yes, 4 days and already the pain has subsided. I still feel some discomfort but it is extremely minor and I eat everything now, cold, hot, sweet, overly sweet, sticky - with NO PAIN!!!! I like how the paste leaves my teeth smooth and that there's no nasty film left behind. I do pre-rinse with Listerine Zero to keep my breath fresh though because THE ONLY THING I DON'T LIKE ABOUT THIS PASTE IS THE TASTE. IT DOES NOT TASTE BAD, IT'S JUST VERY MILDLY FLAVORED, LIKE A CHILD'S BEGINNER PASTE, so it doesn't leave my mouth with that crisp, minty freshness that I prefer. Other than that, so far this paste is wonderful. I whole heartedly recommend for intense pain and tooth sensitivity.

This toothpaste has been a lifesaver
This toothpaste has been a lifesaver for my mother. When she was diagnosed with cancer 3 years ago, something that we hadn’t anticipated was the possibility that between chemotherapy and other medications, her mouth might become more sensitive — which it eventually became. Even children’s toothpaste burned her mouth. But after extensive research and staying hopeful, I came across Squigle and it’s been a game changer ever since! She won’t use any other toothpaste except for this. It’s no different than any other toothpaste on the market — it’s in a regular tube size, keeps her breath fresh, her mouth hydrated, and doesn’t irritate her gums. So if you or someone you know has a highly sensitive mouth, I would highly recommend trying out this brand.

Gentle cleaning with excellent results!
Best toothpaste I’ve ever used. I have burning mouth syndrome. This was recommended by an oral surgeon. I’ve used it for five years. It’s the only toothpaste that’s gentle and very little foam. My mouth feels so clean and I can’t be without it.

Six days in my temperature and pressure sensitivity are nearly gone
As a result of dry mouth I have suffered with rapid tooth decay over the past 4 years. I received this product 1 day before it was promised and immediately brushed my teeth upon receipt. I found the taste pleasant, and nondescript. I like that I don't have to wait for a minty flavor to disappear before eating. I've never liked the minty taste of most toothpastes. By the time I finish brushing I have no distinct taste in my mouth. Some reviewers have mentioned that this toothpaste doesn't foam as much as regular toothpaste - I disagree. To me it foams as much as regular toothpaste. Maybe it's the amount used -- I cover my toothbrush's bristles in a single line from one end to the other, perhaps they don't. I also disagree with reviewers whose teeth do not feel clean. Mine feel smooth, I also chew xylitol sweetened gum and take xylitol mints to generate saliva which contribute to the all-day clean feel I've experienced. When I began using this paste I'd had a cavity filled the week before which was pressure and temperature sensitive. I'd also had another filling retouched on the same day. It was also pressure and temperature sensitive. I have dealt with temperature sensitivity for at least the past 10 years. Nothing seemed to work on a long-term basis. While my sensitivity was mild in comparison to some of the other reviewers the idea of chewing ice or digging into icecream teeth first was scary. Within the first two days I noticed that an area on my front tooth which had started to become translucent was shrinking. Also the temperature sensitivity in my front teeth was drastically reduced. My fillings were still sensitive to temperature and pressure but it was easier to chew crunchy things slowly. Today, not quite a week later the pressure and heat sensitivity in one of my recent fillings is completely gone. The tooth which still feels slightly temperature sensitive is all the way in the back of my mouth its filling was retouched 12 days ago. I am assuming that it has had less exposure to my brushing over the past week than the other teeth. I think I will focus more on that tooth as time goes on. Overall, I did not expect this toothpaste to work so quickly, nor did I expect it to work better than Sensodyne, and other sensitive teeth toothpastes I've used over the years. I did a lot of research on my dental issues before I purchased this toothpaste. As a result, I purchased this toothpaste with the intent of remineralizing my teeth (it is one component of an overall strategy). Six days in I can only say I am astonished at my results. Furthermore, while I believe this is a great product, I do not believe that using just this toothpaste (or any toothpaste) alone will effectively stop tooth sensitivity. Sensitivity is a symptom of an underlying issue and I think it's important that you know your underlying issue before you attach any expectations to the efficacy of this product.

Breath Didn't Feel Clean and A Tip for Those Who Get Mouth Sores
This review is not about whether it works for people with sensitive teeth. I don't generally have sensitive teeth, but had a couple waves of my bottom teeth hurting and decided to try it. (I think now that it was a specific sensitivity to chicken broth soup with some lime in it.) In any case, I'm only giving it three stars, because my teeth didn't feel clean in the morning. I don't know if I had bad breath, but it felt like that. I realize this may be wrong. This toothpaste has no scent, no doubt because a person could be sensitive to a scent, and it may be that it is the scent that makes one feel like your breath is clean. I do have sensitivities to acids on my gums - with regular toothpaste if I don't get it entirely washed out of the corners of my mouths, I will end up with a rash there, for instance. I'm also prone to mouth sores (canker sores inside the mouth), which I've discovered for me is the result of coffee, orange juice, or chocolate. I don't get any or they go away in a few days without pain, if I avoid these, particularly if I stick to water. Anyways, it was interesting that Tooth Builder in my mouth felt no different from swishing around some mashed potatoes (not that texture, but my point is no sensation of tingling). So I knew I wasn't showing that allergy/sensitivity to it. Nevertheless, it didn't prove to be needed for me, and I returned after about 4 days to a regular toothpaste for the feeling of clean. I think it's also worth pointing out that the tube does not give all the ingredients. If it's using baking soda, for instance, I've heard that's harsh on the enamel of teeth. Anyways - my two cents and a tip for those who get canker sores.

Nice to use
Second purchase of this toothpaste. No nasties and has Xylitol in it. I don’t know if it’s building my teeth but haven’t had sensitivity since using it.

Really helps prevent sensitive teeth and whitens too
There is almost no flavour but it's quite pleasant. Makes my teeth whiter and feel very clean. No sensitivity since starting to use it a few months ago.

Brilliant toothpaste, no exaggeration
This toothpaste is a lifesaver. It is the only toothpaste I've ever found that doesn't stir up my rosacea, has no mint flavour but kept my teeth issue and cavity free ever since starting it a decade ago. It's a shame that I can't buy it in the Netherlands, but even ordering it online and paying taxes is worth it. I hope they'll never stop producing this toothpaste.
