I got the 48" x 42" for my medium sized dog. It's huge. I've had a crate like this before, not from this seller, but it's identical (except size), and these are very sturdy crates. They have 2 openings: One on the smaller side, one on the larger side, so you're not forced to put your crate in only one certain way in the room, which I like. The tray pulls out from the bottom for easy cleaning without having to fight the crate or fold it down. You can either take it to the backyard and hose it off, or you just can use some Clorox wipes or dish rag and soap to clean it. To "assemble" it, all you have to do it pull it up. You take it out of the box, grab the top, and pull up. Then, you go to the smaller sides and click the edges underneath the tabs on the "roof". That's literally it. You do the reverse to fold it down. It's ridiculously easy. Anyway, the one I got is, as I said, way larger than I thought it would be, so I placed the brand new memory foam dog bed that I got for my boy inside of the crate. It fits perfectly. Now he gets to sit in comfort the entire time I'm at work. In fact, there's enough space in there, (I'm telling you, the 48 x 42 is huge), that I have enough room to put a water dish next to his memory foam bed. It's truly his den now. It's like an indoor dog house. AND, it didn't cost nearly as much as the ones I see in the store. The crate he used to have was 2 times smaller than this and cost the exact same amount from the store. The larger ones in the store were over $100. This is the same. exact. crate. And you're getting it at a steal! Review: Good purchase - The crate was much larger than I was thinking(my fault) but it works out well. My dog has plenty of room. Haha. It was a little hard to lift the crate to “pop” it open. But once I got it, it went together easily. The door latches tend to get stuck and they are a little hard to open sometimes. The construction looks solid and well made. Overall I’m happy.

Great value
I love that crate. It was more affordable than other but quality is still great. It was very easy to assemble. Less than 5 minutes. When your first take it or if the box, it does have a small odor, hussy like every new stuff but it quickly dissipates and there was no black residue. My Syberian husky loves it.

Glad I purchased.
I brought this fir my large dog and this cafe is massive. Enough room and when folded, it fit in the back of a small car. Glad I purchased it.

Love it
Very nice. Very roomy. Can't go wrong for this price. I recommend! I want to update my review because I've had this kennel for some time now. I love it. It is a very nice kennel. I did put zip ties on the front of it where my puppy jumps the most. It keeps it securely together. When he gets really excited and jumps a lot He can knock it apart. And get out. So with zip ties in place he can not longer escape. 😉 I still highly recommend.

Worth it
Bought this for my golden retriever puppy. She is 3.5 mo now with the full range, and doing well. Used the separator 8wk-3 mo so that way she wouldn’t make too much noise and mess it up. It’s sturdy, easy to use and manipulate, and she isn’t able to chew it up. The flooring at they bottom is curved so that messes don’t leak out. She’s had some puppy tummy disagreements with foods, so I’ve cleaned the cage multiple times and plenty large enough. I got the 42” crate so it will be on size for her life (though won’t have her sleep in there her whole life, just until she won’t tear the house up). Great purchase and definitely worth it!!

If your unsure? This is a good purchase
Did not buy for potty training feature. Bought to replace an older crate I had...I was impressed with frame, easy assembly and quality. Use to allow my dogs to dry up from being outside and they are happy. Bought a different one from a pet store and both crates are very different. BMS was definitely a better purchase.

Weak construction
This crate is great if your dog doesn't want out of it. Otherwise, it is easily broken by your pet. Took my husky 0.2 seconds to pull apart welds and escape. Metal is thin and welds are weak. Great for docile animals but if you have a pet with any amount of energy, look into a stronger one
