Does this kill ear mites?

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately RenaSan will not kill ear mites as it only kills pathogens ie bacteria and virus. Treatment for ear mites typically requires anti-parasitic medication. RenaSan can usually be used in conjunction with these to ensure the ear is clean and free from germs, but please consult your vet first for best results.

Is this watery, or thick like an ointment/lotion?

It is a watery solution, so easy to apply.

Is it similar to Otomax

Thank you for your question. The active ingredient in RenaSan Antiseptic Ear Drops is hypochlorous acid and therefore different to Otomax. Hypochlorous acid is clinically proven to kill 99.9999% of bacteria, virus, fungi and yeast on contact and can therefore be used for the disinfection of ears of all animal species which might be affected by bacteria and/or fungi/yeast.
