I am editing this review to say this strap SAVED MY DOGS LIFE! I was driving slowly on our gravel driveway letting my dog look out the window. He fell out of the window. I I stopped immediately and ran to his side thinking the strap had broken and I had run over him. He was screaming and hanging by his collar and the strap. I was able to get him down in time and so thankful the strap did not break. If it had broken he would have been run over by the vehicle. It was a very traumatic experience that I never will forget or want to happen to anyone else. Makes car rides much safer! I know our puppy won’t fall in the floor if I have to stop quickly. It is a great training aid to teach him to stay in place. Comes with two straps. I use the strap and a dog booster seat with my small puppy and my daughter uses the other strap with her huge, strong lab. Works for both dogs. It may just be a puppy thing, but he constantly gets tangled in the strap. I plan to start using a harness instead of a collar so he won’t get so tangled. Easy to fasten and unfasten, great that it has a safety lock. Adjustability is good (I wish it could go a little shorter but it's not a big deal), the bungee is excellent especially if you have a dog that likes to jump around the car like mine. I've also used them as a leash in a pinch, a leash extender, and a fastener leash to tether my dog to something (like a tree while I'm putting up a hammock). I love the 2 pack, I have one in the front seat and one in the back.

These seat belts work exactly like they should. They clip right into the buckle and attach to my dog’s harness securely. She still has room to move around but can’t jump all over the car. The straps feel sturdy, adjust easily, and I like that it comes as a 2-pack so I can keep one in each vehicle. Simple, affordable, and makes traveling with pets so much safer.

These dog safety belts are a great and afforadable way to keep you pup safe while traveling in the car. I appreciate that it comes with 2 safety belts in case you need them for multiple vehicles and/or pets. I will say that the length of the safety belt (even at it's shortest level) is still a bit long. As you can see in the second photo my dog is still able to stand up to look out the window - which could be a good or a bad thing depending on your preference. But for me I wish the safety belt was able to be adjusted to be even shorter in length because the way it is now I had to push the car seat back as much as possible to accomodate for the length. But overall great car safety solution! But I think long term I would explore other options.

Keeps my dogs from jumping all over my vehicle. They are unable to get out of it. In the oast I had purchased safety seatbelt leash pet holder that buckled into where the seatbelt normally buckles and my Husky was to smart. She'd just step on the release and left herself free to go crazy in my car. This product has stopped that from happening.

This is so simple but works great so far. It just slips on the head rest. It prevents our dog from going into the floor boards as well as not being able to jump into the front seat to distract me while driving. The elastic gives her some wiggle room but will sling her back if she tries to jump around too fast. I like that we can use it as a leash as well so we do not have to worry about carrying both when out and about.

This works perfectly for our 28 pound dog. She can stick her head out the window but not jump out. She also has the ability to move around on the seat but not get in the driver's lap. It fits on the headrest fast and easy as well as just clips to her collar. The elastic gives her a little extra room but not too much. When we have a real person sit in that place, we just toss the leash around the headrest so it is out of the way but we don't have to take it all the way off. Great item.

Kinda flimsy. I do wish you could adjust the length on these too. Also wish it had a quick release function

Totally unsafe, the stitching wasn't even holding parts of these straps together properly and the buckles/metal connectors were really flimsy. There was absolutely no way I was going to trust this with my small breed dog, it would simply snap. Unfit for purpose. Returned immediately.

Does what it is supposed to. Great price for 2 pcs. Solid product. Nuff said.
