Great bang for the buck
I have been using this mouse for two weeks now and I must admit, it is a bargain. Build Quality The buttons click well and the mouse scrolls well. The real test is durability and I will have to update this in about six months to write a fair assessment. The mouse has a matte finish on the left and right buttons and where the rear portion of your palm rests. The finish is smoother where the text “FOR THE GAME” appears. Have I encountered any “slipping” issues yet? No, but please keep in mind this is an early review. The braided cord is (surprisingly) of excellent quality. Lighting The colors rotate between red, green, blue, purple and yellow respectively and continuously. I personally do not find the constantly rotating colors a nuisance, but some might so please keep that in mind. Scroll Wheel/DPI Button The scroll wheel is rubberized with grooves and feels fine, no problems scrolling. The DPI button is located just below the scroll wheel, and I love that I can select the DPI without the necessity of software. The DPI button placement does not interfere with use (my opinion). I have listed below the DPI-to-color relationship. 1000 DPI - Red 1600 DPI - Green 2400 DPI - Blue 3200 DPI - Purple 5500 DPI – Yellow Comfort Now keep in mind this is the first mouse that I have owned with a thumb, ring-finger and pinky rest and I must say that I find it extremely comfortable. I have been diagnosed with slight Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and the ergonomics are terrific. But the comfort is due to a combination of the ergonomics AND finding the correct DPI which result in less wrist movement. I love the fact that the DPI can be selected via a button just below the scroll wheel. Which DPI is best? That is a preference that only the user can determine. Summary Overall I am very pleased with the cost-to-performance-and-feel of this mouse. I play some games but use the mouse for general purpose and again, it is very, very comfortable. I have not attempted to program the buttons, I’ll probably try that later. I have set a Task in my Outlook six months from now to write an update, I’ll let you know how well it holds up. Update 11/9/2015 Here's the promised update: * The mouse is still working, hardly any wear and tear but then again I am not a heavy duty gamer, everyday computer use, some World of Warships, World of Tanks and StarCraft 2 every now and then. * The mouse still feels very comfortable for my hands. * My only (minor) complaint is that the mouse does not include programmable software. I found a third party software called X-Mouse Button Control, which is fine if you want the pre-programmed button options. So far I have not found a way to program the buttons to my desire, but it's better than nothing.

Best mouse for the price range.
Credentials: 1000+ Hours played in FPS games 500+ Hours using gaming mice Five stars because: LEDs are even better than what I expected. They pulsate and switch colors every 5 seconds or so. If they bcome too distracting, you can hold down the DPI button, it will turn them off. The shape is amazing. When I'm gaming (I play Team Fortress 2, Counter Strike, Minecraft, Terraria, Etc.) I like to palm the mouse with a firm grip, and the shape of this mouse makes my hand so much more comfortable while doing this. The side buttons are nice. They are in a much more convenient position than other gaming mice in the price range, and they take a lot less wear. The high DPI is appreciated. It shows that the mouse has a quality optical sensor, and it's great for those who love high sensitivities. The mouse is surprisingly light for its size, and there is no give or play when squeezed. I've had problems in the past with gaming mice squeaking when clicked. No such issue exists with this mouse. Complaints / Possible Improvements: Better scroll wheel. It's small and hard to press. It will take some getting used to. If you use macros / binds on your mouse wheel button in game, I would suggest moving them to a side button. Thumb rest. Everyone's thumb is different, but something about this mouse's thumb rest is uncomfortable to me. The joint of my thumb (by the webbing from the pointer finger to the thumb) keeps grinding on its resting place. Maybe I hold the mouse too tightly, or maybe I move my thumb too much, (because I rely on the side buttons in game) but I can't stop thinking that they should have rounded it out more. Otherwise, the shape of the mouse is spot on. In conclusion, the mouse is the obvious winner for its price range. This company has managed to fix flaws that are abundant in cheap gaming mice. If they were to fix the two flaws I mentioned, I would find it difficult to complain about this mouse.

Semi In-Depth Review, Including Pictures
Alright so I figured I would do a sort of in-depth review of this mouse. Right off the bat I'll just give it a rating out of 10 if that's all you're looking for to save your time- 7.2/10 The only reason I'm writing this review is because this mouse is no longer 100% functional so I'm looking for a new mouse to buy and I came across this one again. So, let's get into the review. The mouse, for what it's worth, is amazing to say the least. I believe when I bought it (January of 2016) it cost me about 9$ (as of writing this review 11/30/16 it is still priced at 9$). It has three extra buttons on it that the typical computer mouse does not (in addition to the DPI selector), and that was slightly handy for me because it allowed for extra keybinds for games I play (mainly WoW). The mouse itself is entirely plastic and has a decent overall weight to it, making it easy for most every gamer to use- it isn't too light but isn't too heavy. It also flashes a variety of set colors, or can be set on just one color. The DPI (CPI) of the mouse has a few different selections ranging up to 5500, but I typically stayed on the second lowest interval. The mouse is also very comfortable I found. It was the first mouse I have owned that has a thumb rest on the side and I will never not buy a mouse with a thumb rest now. Something to keep in mind with this mouse is that it has a lot of seams on it where plastic meets more plastic, and a lot of grooves where the lights are. This made it collect grime easily and I found myself cleaning it pretty often. The fabric cord for the mouse never frayed and remained in good shape. But let's get into why the mouse is no longer 100% functional for me. The farthest back button on the left side of the mouse ended up breaking off inside, and got pressed inside of the mouse and is now just clanging around inside the mouse. In addition to that button being broken off, the right click button seems to have been slightly loosened from clicking it so much. This makes it so when I hold the right click down, the mouse thinks I take my finger off and will register that I do not have the right click button pressed. I will then have to re-click the right mouse button for it to work again. The best way I can explain this is that if I am healing as Mercy in Overwatch (she's my main so this ended up being quite a problem for me), it would remove my stream from the player I was connected to and I would have to reconnect to them. I know this example will only help people who have played Overwatch, but I'm just trying to make more clear the problem I encountered. I used the mouse heavily, ranging from minimum 6 hours a day to maximum upwards of over 24 hours at a time. So the right click button being loosened can easily attribute to this extreme use. To be honest I was not expecting this mouse to last me the 11 months it did, as it only cost 9$. I would almost look at this mouse as a "disposable" mouse. It functions great for what it's worth, but if you're looking long term I would invest a little more money. If you're just getting into gaming, or know someone who is, and they need an introduction to a little bit more feature-intensive mice, this is a good start. Will I buy this mouse again? Probably never, seeing that I just bought a much more advanced and sturdy mouse- but that doesn't mean I think the Zelotes mouse was a waste of money. I thoroughly enjoyed using it and I would say it was a good mouse, not a great one, but a good one. The mouse is not made super well, as you can only assume from the 9$ price point- it's entirely plastic and the paint on the side buttons was wearing off. So I knew what I was getting into when I bought it. It functioned well for what it was worth, but just couldn't stand the test of time for me. If you game far less than me, this could be a very useful mouse for you. I do recommend it, but would advise actually investing money in a better mouse if you want it to last more than a year. I have included a few photos detailed the extent of the damage to the mouse where the missing button is, and where the wearing of paint is visible. Hope I helped.

After 6 years.
Best mouse I have ever had. I was looking for a cheap but comfortable and responsible mouse, basically an unrealistic mouse. But this is THE unrealistic mouse every gamer is looking for. Took me a few days to get used to the shape because I had never touched a mouse of this design but once you get used to it, you never wanna go back. Too many advantages to a mouse like this. Fast, responses perfectly and extremely comfortable. DO NOTE: I have had this mouse for about a year or so now and it works just as perfectly as it always has when I first got it and I move my gaming things around a lot (divorced parents, go from one house to the next every week), so to had to what I said it is also extremely durable. My one and ONLY complaint is that the colors are always changing, even if you switch the color, it will change a few seconds later. It doesnt bother my vision, I dont even notice it when I game but its still nice to keep it one consistent color so I can have a nice matching theme to my set-up but honestly? For its price. Its not even a complaint, its just like an "eh, would be nice". I HAVE RECOMMENED THIS MOUSE TO EVERY GAMER I KNOW AND TO WHOM EVER IS READING MY REVIEW. 6 year update: Mouse finally broke (side mouse button snapped off after 6 years of gaming). It wont be the best mouse in the world but it'll do its job and its never stopped working appropriately. I wont be getting it again, not because of quality, but because I am at a point in my life where I can now afford a more expensive mouse. However, this mouse will always be near and dear in my heart.

Finger-gripping works well... Looks amazingly better than pictures suggest, adjustable sensitivity is very useful
FRICTION Make sure you remove the plastic film on the glider feet. I was using this for over a week struggling with the friction until the film started to peel off one of the gliders. After removing all that film, it's wonderful. FINGER-GRIPPING In addition, I do use my fingertips to control this mouse more than my wrist, and it can be done easily if you don't have small hands. Instead of letting your fingers rest into the grooves that seem to be designed for your fingers, hold the mouse at the very bottom. See the strange silhouette of this mouse? See how there's that strange angle-shape on the left? Rest your thumb on the table top instead of the mouse, and you can grip the mouse at that angle. Do the same thing with your ring finger on the other side. These angle shapes are perfectly positioned for finger-gripping the mouse as long as your hands are big enough. APPEARANCE I was not really a fan of the pictures of this mouse, but in person, Wow! The light show makes it feel like a robot or like it's alive. It's not so bright as to be distracting, and the shape looks more natural in person as well. People who see it want it even though they don't need a mouse and don't want all the extra buttons. EXTRA BUTTONS By far, the most useful extra button is the one right below the middle wheel button for adjusting the sensitivity. Each click briefly changes the color of the mouse so you know which setting it's on. By experimenting with both sensitivity and software settings, anyone on any computer can dial in what works best for them. I wish it was a little less likely to get pressed by accident (by my cat). But, it's easy to get it back to the prefered setting. I also use the back/forward buttons on the left. I tend to forget about the double-click button, but it's handy for those moments when double-click doesn't seem to be working.

Didn't work out for me...
********UPDATE Dec 29th, 2014******** First arrived Dec. 7th, and as of the Dec. 18th my mouse has stopped working. It lasted under 2 weeks, and while I could have initiated a return then, I really wanted it to work out, and gave it a while longer to see if it would start working again. But since it's still the same, I've now started the return process. What went wrong? Well when I plug it into my PC, the LEDs and Optic still light up, but my PC doesn't recognize it (or even know it's there). Which leads me to believe it's a driver or internal software problem. It's possible I just got a defective unit, but as I'm not going to be getting another of these I can't be sure. All I can say is: If you do buy it, be sure to purchase it from Amazon (or Fulfilled by Amazon), due to their easy returns on the off chance it kicks the bucket early. Below is my original review. ************************************* Was rather hesitant to buy this at first, due to the low price (often you get what you pay for), but I'm actually pretty pleased with this purchase! Pros -It's a nice size. Not too small, not too large. And fits my right hand very well. -The cord seems very durable, like it could survive several encounters with desk chair wheels, no problem. -6 buttons. Standard left, right, and mouse wheel, as well as a double click button to the left of the left click, and two side buttons, one for browser page forward/back. -Multiple DPI settings. -Seemingly solid build quality. -Plug-and-play. Cons -Cord is maybe a little short (about 4' 6") if you're using it with a computer under a desk, though a USB cord extender will fix that. -LEDs can't be turned off. (IMO, they can be annoying at times) -Not made for the left-handed. -No indicator for what DPI it's currently set to. I've only had it for about a day, so these are only first impressions. I'll update this when/if I encounter any issues in the future. Hopefully it'll last as long as, or longer than, my old Logitech M310 (probably near 5 years). Update Dec. 16, 2014: After using it now for about a week, a couple minor problems have come up, but not so bad as to warrant a return... Yet. -The left mouse button occasionally double clicks when I only click it once. -The double click button next to the LMB occasionally doesn't double click.

It looks nice...works as a mouse, not great though
Okay so here is my take on this extremely inexpensive gaming mouse. My first impressions exceeded my expectations by miles. The fit and finish of the mouse is way better than I expected (for under 30 anyway). While it is not a Razer, it is solid and the finish is smooth. As others have mentioned the cloth cable is awesome. It does have support both at the mouse end and the USB end to help mitigate any unintentional yanks or loads on the cable itself. The button clicks are snappy and responsive. More "clicky" than my MX-518. The shape is fairly comfortable for my hand after coming from aforementioned MX-518, however this has very defined finger grooves. They kind of got in the way at first but now my pink and ring finger are finding it easier to land in the right spot. The basic construction of this mouse is 4 to 5 stars. Longevity will be the largest question. Now, after looking it over and drooling for the work day I manage to get it home and plug it in to my gaming desktop and start fiddling with the mouse settings. This is way more sensitive at its highest DPI than my MX-518 at its highest DPI. This was expected. The lights are a nice touch. Dunno if they are really needed for anything, altho the different colors to help inform me of the DPI mode is cool. Again, not necessary, but pretty cool for the bling factor. The buttons all work just fine and dandy. The forward/back button are easier to click than on the logitech, however this has not become an issue at this juncture. Now. On to the killer. While this mouse has great DPI settings and seems to track decently, it has a super slight delay when turning the sensor on (pulling it out of standby). This means that if the mouse has sat still for 30s or so it will not register immediately when you move it. I honestly did not notice right away, but after gaming for a few hours it drove me completely insane. I'm sure it is related, but when you are making very, very small, very, VERY slow movements the mouse is quite jumpy. I plugged my MX-518 back in and the delay was gone and the cursor was butter smooth at all speeds. They clearly used the absolute cheapest sensor they could find with switchable DPI and called it a day. Very disappointed. Most basic PC users would not even notice this but I play competitive CS:GO and program CNC machines all day for a living so I spend a lot of time on the computer. I learned my lesson. No more no-name gaming equipment for me. This mouse is as of now sitting on my desk but will end up in the trash can by weeks end. Save an extra tenner and go buy a G400 from an actual PC peripheral company rather than this.

Amazing Quality, Beautiful Finish, and Great Feel in Hand!
When first viewing this I was skeptical (like others) that it would take too long to ship and that it wouldn't be as great as my other mouse. Well that is not the case! This mouse blew my expectations out of the water! When I first ordered it I thought that the leds were just those four colors and that you could only select those colors. Nope! The led lights cycle through every color like a gradient adding this really cool effect on your desk. You still can't hold on one singular color. Not only the leds just amazing by themselves the Quality and Finish on this thing is amazing! I feel like I bought a $30 - $40 mouse while it only sits at just under $10. The mold of the mouse is right hand only, but it feels like it was a custom made mouse! Now it comes down to shipping. I was leaning away from ordering this mouse when I saw it because of the reviews complaining about shipping. First, just expect the mouse to come 2 -3 weeks from ordering, then you'll be pleasantly surprised when it comes in that time. For me I got it right around the two week mark, with the amazon tracking saying it would take another month to get here! Overall just an amazing product, would highly recommend to any beginner gamer, or an intermediate gamer! Pros Amazing quality Beautiful finish Great feel in hand Bright LEDs Great DPI function Cons You can't pause on just one color Shipping takes awhile UPDATE: Since August, the mouse has worked perfectly. Absolutely no issues what so ever. The lights are as bright as ever and I continue to enjoy the feeling of the mouse in my hand. I still would highly recommend simply for its cheap price and great quality!

Entregado a tiempo.

Best mouse for the price and beyond the price
This is the best mouse I have ever used. For the price, this is the best mouse you will ever use too. I have a bit larger than average hands and this is fits perfect other than the fact that my pinky finger rubs on the mouse mat, but this isn't an issue. It comes with a DPI setting which allows for people to change it depending on their liking. I do not use the back and forward buttons on the side of the mouse but that is just my preference, they do work. And I have never accidentally clicked on one of the back or forward buttons considering their location on the mouse. I don't use the double click button either as that is my preference but like before, it works and it doesn't get clicked by accident. I would recommend this mouse to everyone who has a cheaper budget (and to people who have a higher budget due to it's quality).
