I bought this as it has both IR and K type thermocouple temperature sensors and on the whole it works well and is quite accurate, so far the only thing I don't like is the slightly dim display (which is why I gave it 4* and not 5)

Very useful and helpful tool. Use at work and with my studies to get comfortable with and help with my studies. The infrared point and click is quite accurate as well as using the K - type plug in sensors is very useful making this product ideal for all building service engineers especially heating and ventilation HVAC & Air-conditioning. 10/10.

Great infrared thermometer. Excellent price. Does everything as advertised. Particularly impressed by the ability to alter sensitivity to accommodate different radiating materials. Am using it for setting up an Air Source Heat Pump system. Totally satisfied with my purchase.

The thermometer was poorly constructed - basically cheap and nasty. Its performance was erratic and I very quickly did not trust its readings. It stopped doing anything soon after that - it went into the recycling and I did consider returning it but I had it for a while albeit infrequently used I thought it was too much hassle for me to return. More money down the drain.

Works well enough for my use. Not a bad price and arrived quickly. It's far better than a more expensive one I purchased. No complaints at all

Bought this a couple of months ago and have now had time to use it a few times. Also I've since compared it to other test units I have (which I know are accurate). The only readings I can have any confidence in are the temperatures, which were reasonably accurate for surface temp and immersion temp. The rest of the functions are very poor. The Relative humidity is normally at least 10% RH out. The live detector can detect a wire, if it is nearly touching it. Basically the unit is trying to do too many things, but thankfully I purchased it mainly for temperature readings. A shame, as the concept is good.

Bought this to measure the temperature in our caravan to see where it gets hot and where we need to add shading. This unit has so many more functions than we will need, but using it for our purpose is going to be a breeze. It does have two lasers that calculate the temperature, with means you generally have to be pretty close to the target - within a meter or so. Not sure how accurate it will be if you want to measure the temp of something much further away. I have used other guns that have just the one laser and you can measure things tens of meters away. Because this one has two, and you have to get them to merge, it is possible that the accuracy when the two beams are not together might not be the best. I will continue to play with it and see. It also comes with a separate attachment - a K thermocouple probe - and to be honest I doubt we will ever have a use for it, but if you are in the right type of work, this too could be very useful. As for accuracy, I tested it on a known surface and it was bang on the money. I used it on my 3D printer plate and it confirmed the temperature the printer listed was correct.
