I got a bunch of these to poke through black drapery to make a starry night sky. I had done this before with bulk plastic optical fiber that I cut to length and bundled myself with electrical tape. This is a LOT easier to work with than my homemade bundles.

Work well just not super easy. Need to be committed to the process. Photo is just 1 penny light to test light them.

I use them for lighting my model train layout and dioramas. They work great inside N Scale houses just the right amount of light.

Was surprised I could get this much for the value deff worth it

I bought this for a project with the intent of bringing daylight into a dark space through a conduit. After easily cutting with a heavy duty scissors to the length I wanted and bundling everything together, the strands pulled through the conduit easily and did what I wanted. They are not optical grade as the light measured from the output end was about half that measured at the input end, but it was fine for what I wanted.
