Review: A Solid Foundation for Math Readiness! - โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ I recently used this math workbook for my fourth-grade students, and I have to say, it deserves a solid 4.8 stars. Hereโs why: This 96-page comprehensive supplement is packed with standards-aligned reproducible activities that focus on critical math skills and concepts aligned with the Common Core State Standards. Each page includes 16 problems meant to be completed over a four-day period. I had my students tackle four questions each day, and we would go over them together to ensure they understood the material. What I loved most about this workbook is the continuous spiral arrangement of the exercises. Concepts are repeated weekly, giving students ongoing practice throughout the year instead of the usual one-and-done approach of traditional math units. This repeated exposure helps reinforce their understanding and mastery of each skill. The fifth day is reserved for an assessment that evaluates the studentsโ grasp of the concepts practiced during the week. I would give the weekly quiz on Fridays, grading and reporting on the 10 questions on the test. Students had the chance to study for this quiz on Thursday nights, which I found to be an effective way to ensure they were prepared. Additionally, the workbook includes a Common Core State Standards alignment matrix and an answer key, making it easy for me to track which standards were being met and to check students' work efficiently. In summary, this math workbook is an excellent resource for building a strong foundation in math readiness for fourth-graders. The structured, repetitive practice and regular assessments make it a valuable tool in any classroom. I highly recommend it! Review: Great price , very helpful tool. - Highly recommend this Math Today workbook. Has all the elements of common core testing. Also was a great study guide for the Fast test. Answer Key in back of the book. Good quality paper perforated sheets, covers most problems you would face in common core/FAST testing.

Great for review
My child was having difficulty with certain math skills and this was a great way to reinforce what he learned or should have learned at school. There are a few problems for each day and then on day five, there is a review of the contents covered for that week. There is an answer key in the back as well. This book does not show how to solve the problems so some guidance will be required if it's a new topic for the child. I ended up buying the 5th grade version to start reviewing over the summer.

This book is great for summer Math work
This book is great for summer Math work. I got it for my daughter who is going into 4th and she is TAG program at school. There are 4 problems per day which I think is not sufficient so she ends up doing the whole weeks work in one day. Well, you can use it to your child's speed. I like how it covers the concept and keep repeating them until they are concert. BTW, there is no explanation of concept its for practice only.

Great concept for kids - and here is why
Great concept for kids - and here is why. For each day there are four questions - Monday through Thursday and they are all on one side of a worksheet - on the back is a Friday review of everything - kids have less to complain about when you just have to do 4 questions - and the way the questions are set up they are interesting and "fun" (that may be a stretch) but my son doesn't have a problem completing his daily work - the other thing is that with just 4 questions a day I think my child can do this during the school year as well - its not like I am adding a ton of work to his daily homework

It's easy and self taught
I bought this book for my Son for summer school and he loves it. It's easy and self taught. My son spends lots of time and seems to enjoy learning this way.... Homeschool may be better for my son .... My son has even talked with me about it. ADHD plays a major role in helping to determine if this type of education is a better learning activity then school. This will offer my son the ability to get away from the bulling because he's so hyper and difficult at times because he's board.

Great way to review math skills
This is perfect for my morning review problems for fifth graders. It is an excellent way to review skills we will build on this year, and allows you to see what skills they missed last year. There are four days of review, then a quiz on Friday. I highly recommend this series - a book down. I tried the one for my grade level, but had to teach many of the skills as we went - NOT what I wanted for a review during attendance, etc.

Not user friendly
It is SO not user friendy, terrible the way it is presented, I guess they wanted to save paper by just cramming al the text together but it is just NOT fun at all to help your kids with math
