Fiberbuilt Golf 5’ x 3’ Practice Station – Golf Hitting Mat & Training System

I bought a 150 dollar mat when first building my golf simulator, I thought it was great, 4x5, had a rough section and smooth one... what a smart guy I am... until about 2 months, the grass was ripped right through and the rubber exposed, it was falling apart, unusable. Not only that but it CONSTANTLY slipped/moved around when swinging, despite using a non-slip insert underneath it. I'm not going that route again, let's use a brand we know is respected and built to last. Found out Fiberbuilt is a top-tier brand with products I can't afford. However, I came across this practice station and I'm absolutely in love. It's never moved once, no slippage, the fibers are tough and feel good even through fat shots, no pain in my wrists/arms/hands. Somehow, my launch monitor seems to be working even more accurately with this mat (Rapsodo MLM2Pro). I only have one complaint and it is not that big of a deal, the tee included is a little annoying as even when it's all the way down, the tee sticks up enough to interfere with flat shots. So, I decided to use rubber stand-alone tees with an elastic band and weight instead of the built-in tee (K2 brand). That being said, if I'm just practicing drives, I'll put their tee back in and use it because it's sooooo nice and adjustable. The assembly is doable by a 7 year old, it's 6 pieces that interlock beautifully. It is heavy and solid and i even hit off it barefoot sometimes. The fact that the hitting turf is modular and replaceable makes this hitting mat the best possible thing I could imagine for my setup. I really would give it 6 stars out of 5.

Listen I bought this mat 1 year ago and it is absolutely fantastic! I was shooting low 80’s now I’m at low 70’s! Don’t listen to the negative reviews regarding flight deck being 1”higher, not true. It will improve your game. Also you get feedback from this mat (fat, thin ) shots you can feel. Highly recommend!!

I initially only purchased the Fiberbuilt Flight Deck and not the rubber mat. I liked the Deck, but it is 2+ inches higher than my golf mat. I decided to bite the bullet (it is expensive) and buy the rubber mat, but found out from their web site customer service that I could not buy the mat separately. So I had to buy the Deck and Rubber Mat together. Now I have 2 Flight Decks. I am okay with that having the extra deck AND I am so glad I bought the whole unit. It is so well built, excellent quality, and fun to hit off of. It doesn’t move on my cement floor. It is very easy to take apart and put together. It takes less than 1 minute to do that. Definitely worth the money and would highly recommend it!

This is a great mat with good feel and durability. This is my second fiber built mat. The four alignment sticks were not in the box.

Heavy and durable....a great portable mat. The whole thing (all six pieces) weighs close to 60 lbs. so it’s not moving or going anywhere. I use Cobra one-length irons so I only need the front two base mats to hit all of my irons. If I ever use a driver or three wood and need more room/space from the grass, I would end up attaching the last two base pieces. I considered buying a Fiberbuilt square driving mat but I like the idea of breaking this down, throwing it in the trunk of my car and easily take it with me to a nearby park. I simply could not do that with a 4x4 or 5x5 square commercial mat. The extra adjustable tees are very easy to use and seem very durable.....so nice that I may order some extra of these Fiberbuilt adjustable tees to take with me to my local driving range. My only complaint (minor complaint) is that I wish there was a second hole in the grass so that I could move the tee just a little back towards the middle of my stance. There’s only one hole in the grass for the adjustable tee, but it’s more in line with your front foot/toes. Not bad, but another spot 1-2” back would be a great addition.
