Super cute & functional
Great value for price, easy to use & the size holds enough water to last a few days. I was nervous about that glass but it’s proven to be durable. Would recommend to others. Love that these are colorless/clear glass so they easily blend in with my plants and hoping to come across a larger option to use with my landscaping.

Not Fool-Proof
I read a lot of reviews before buying these birds. Many people complained about the water flowing out and just swamping the plant. But the directions are very clear on the steps you should take to avoid that problem. I have a set of spider plants that only really “fit” in an area that has lots of room to spread out (hanging in a high corner). Which leaves me with a hanging plant that is a real pain to water. The first thing I did was water the plant making sure the soil was saturated. Filling the birds is literally the hardest part of the whole process, I wish there was a funnel. I wrapped a piece of paper towl around the end of the tube with a rubber band and pushed the globes into the soil so that the tube was straight up in the air. You do this to make it harder for air to flow into the tube. In my picture you can see that after a week the water level has gone down but not drained the bird. I’m really happy with my purchase - I solved my annoying watering problem, the birds are cute to look at, and it’s easy to tell when to refill them. But the globes are not fool-proof (you must follow the steps to insure they work properly), and they are made of glass.

Pretty
Four stars because they’re very pretty. If you have a small plant, this might work well. It’s annoying to fill it with water so I’ve just sort of left it as decor in my planters and water it with the can instead.

Pretty and practical
These are charming garden ornaments with a functional purpose! I'd seen some other reviews about difficult filling. I had no problem - simply tip to the side slightly to allow displaced air to escape so the water can empty. And then a thumb over the end to keep the water in until you have it in position. I also pushed a little kitchen roll into the spout and wrapped around the bottom of the glass before pushing into the soil (to avoid soil going into the spout). It so interesting to see which of my plants need more water during the day...not all of them "drink" at the same pace. Would make a great gift for someone who loves their garden!

Perfect
These bird shaped plant bulbs are adorable. Easy to use so far no complaints. I just set them up so unclear about the watering rate so far. Will update should it prove to be unsatisfactory. I did not put the cloth over the ends and there is a little bit of dirt up in the bulb.

Where's the Water?
This is a lovely product. The glass bird globes are large and delicate. It may not be the fault of the product, but all of the water ran out in about 24 hours! I'm a teacher, and was "test driving it for Christmas Break. Thank goodness I did! I found it to be not useful.

Super cute!
I love these little birds. They look exactly as pictured, and are adorable among my plants. I strongly considered other reviews before placing my order, and decided the price was worth the risk of uneven openings and difficulty with filling. I was very happy to find none of those issues with mine (although I am not at all discrediting those who have had problems). The tubes were very uniform, and they are easy to fill as long as you hold them at the right angle to allow the air out as the water goes in. The opening is small, so it can take a little while, but mine have filled just fine. They also hold the water appropriately; so far mine tend to last around 5-7 days, depending on how demanding each plant is. I do agree with others who have suggested covering the opening before putting them in the soil. I just wrapped a bit of paper towel around the end of mine. This keeps the dirt out without blocking off the water, keeping the inside of the birds clean and beautiful.

Hard to control the flow, do not recommend
This thing is cute and all, but it's really difficult to use. It's very hard to get consistent water flow because you have to plug the end of tube with paper towel, and let's face it, you are not going to get it perfect every time... I've had it for a while now. It either drip too slow that two little birdie lasted for a whole week (my plant got thirsty). Or it went too quick and all the water was gone in a matter of a few hours... I guess if you really like the look, you can plug it so it runs slow but still water your plant as needed. I was hoping for a solution that can provide water consistently while I'm away from the house. This isn't it...
