Perfect replacement

My extension cord reel has this type of circuit breaker, which I trip often from using a table saw and a dust collector at the same time. Note that I am just a hobby DIYer so this extension cord does not get much action. The original circuit breaker was a JMB one (white button), which I could not find, so previously I purchased a similar one (red button - 2 pack) - see smaller one in the pic, but these replacement ones lasted less than 2 years. I think one of the replacement ones died first time it tripped, and I could not reset it. I cannot remember exactly, but the original JMB breaker lasted much longer than that. I was determined to purchase different brand this time, and got this one (black button). While the spec is the same, this is more expensive and a much bigger unit, and barely fit in the location. The extension cord reel is working now, and will update as I use it more.

I purchased this product to replace a 13 amp circuit breaker in a retractable extension cord reel. After isolating the problem to the circuit breaker using a multimeter, I contacted the manufacturer’s whose solution was to replace the entire unit ($89). I found these and hoped for the best. After they arrived, it took less than an hour to remove the existing (faulty) circuit breaker, replace it, and reassemble the housing. I now have an operational extension cord reel and a spare circuit breaker if it ever goes out again. Very happy with this product!

Well it was a circuit breaker for my table saw. It was even better than the old one because it had a little plastic cover for the button to keep out sawdust. So I would say it did the trick for me. No stores around here carried it but I found the exact thing I needed on amazon.

Received my product quickly, unfortunately upon unpacking the bag with the breakers was opened and missing one of the waterproof caps.Why pay for what was probably a returned item that is missing parts you need. Look for another vendor.
