The School of War [Najjar, Alexandre] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. The School of War Review: War, a powerful school... - Alexandre Najjar writes candidly the emotions and feelings of his childhood during the Lebanese war. His writing is colored with lebanese dialectical expressions; folkloric characters, places and flavors; and personal experiences in a very parochial type of war. Yet his story is as universal as it gets. Anyone having experienced any type of war -even any type of a major life-crisis, will relate to "The School of War." The tone is always light and optimistic, even cheerful. Yet the message is always present: War kills innocence. Review: Memories of the Lebanese Civil War... Nice read
