Keira Pad Folding Chair, Set of 2, Engineered Wood

I have an antique desk that opens down to become the writing part of the desk in my sitting room. I haven't used the desk very often in the past because it was in a different room. Now that we moved it to the sitting room I use it very often for my Zoom meetings. In that room, I have two recliners and an antique wingback chair (VERY heavy). I was using a metal folding chair each time I had a meeting. I didn't mind using the metal folding chair, but each time I needed it I would have to go get it down a flight of stairs as it was too unsightly to leave out in such a nice room. For the heck of it, I came to Amazon to search for folding chairs that I could leave out in that room and not feel embarrassed when company comes over. This was exactly what I was looking for! It matches perfectly with my desk and when I'm not using it, I leave it out. I move it to the side of the desk, in front of a window. It is beautiful and comfortable! The only thing I wish is if I could have purchased just one instead of two.

Beautiful, comfortable folding chairs for an excellent price. What I love about them is their gorgeous wood, firm padding, sturdiness, and ease in which they fold up. Larger folk might find them a little small though. Also, they arrived packed well and in excellent condition.

First off, I love these chairs. They're very comfortable, and have great back support. I can sit upright very comfortably and the padding has a nice firmness. They look very nice (as long as you don't look super closely). And the fact that they are fold-able is a very nice bonus for the next time I need to move. But unfortunately, they are not particularly well made. You can tell they are mass produced and don't go through very strict quality control. They don't sit perfectly level when there is no weight on them (aka they wobble a tiny bit) but once there is any weight on them they level out, so they feel very sturdy while sitting. After a month or two one of the chairs developed a creak where the post at the bottom of the back rest connects to one side of the chair, and it's only been getting worse. At some point I'll probably have to drill a hole and sink another screw to make it stronger and stop the creaking. Also if you look at where two pieces of wood join there is usually a line of unfinished wood showing, probably due to a rushed finishing process. (Edit:) I've also just noticed that on the bottom of one of the feet there is a staple poking down. If you have wood floors, this scratches your floor permanently. Not happy to see this. Considering lowering to 3 stars but will leave it at 4 like my original review. At the end of the day, these chairs are very cheap. I suppose you get what you pay for. These chairs probably couldn't be produced for this low of a price if more work and quality control went into them. For the price, I would recommend them without a doubt. But they could be better.

Good quality, nice looking, comfortable, easy to fold. Perfect for occasional use.

Very comfy and fairly sturdy over a few month's use. My family has to take some time getting use to folding it and unfolding it, but it stored nicely and when folded, doesn't slide when you lean it against the wall.

(Wife's review) We LOVE these chairs! ❤❤❤ Since we often have company over that requires being able to have comfortable yet versatile seating, we needed some chairs that still fold so when we didn't need to use the dining table, we could easily put them away. We have some ugly 20-40 year old, folding metal chairs that are typically used for public events that I personally was tired of using with our nicer dining room table, especially since they hurt to sit on after a while. These are most definitely a step up from those! They're far more comfortable too, especially great for supporting the back nicely. Since I have back issues, comfort is even more important than looks (though it is a nice bonus). Husband also likes them too for comfort and looks, so even better 😁 Only thing is, I wish they had them in black because then they would perfectly match our table, but eh... the dark espresso is close enough. 😋 I'll settle for comfort and folding and nice enough looking than some old, ugly and uncomfortable metal chairs any day! 😂 We've bought 4 and so far no issues with quality, so we'll be buying 2 more in the future to compete our set! ❤
